On December 19th, 2011, David Archuleta performed his Christmas concert at Abravanel Hall in Salt Lake City. The Lyceum Philharmonic, whose musicians range from 13-18, was invited to perform alongside David.

Same here. I went to the first concert of the tour. I knew he was going to go on a mission. I listened to a live feed the other night to hear the announcement.

do LDS folks celebrate Christmas? Yes, they do. All the traditional Christmas stuff, including nativities and stories about the birth of Christ. (And, alas, too many presents).
