PING
Humanity has both the freedom and the imagination to write the rule any way we like them.
And we do.
Intriguing....
YEP
But it’s a dry heat.
I always found Gendron to be one of the more self-agrandizing and humorless anti-Catholic bigots.
And anyone who knows recent history knows Gendron FEARS Staples after that last defeat Staples handed him:

Thanks for the ping. This should be interesting...
Almost as accurate as a Chick Publication.
Thanks Mom —
Great read and true. It’s sad that so many are deluded into this falsehood along with idolatry and a whole host of other cultic abominations called the Roman Catholic Church.
I thank God that He is sovereign over all things.

Purgatory is more works based heresy, it denies Christ and His gift of salvation. It mocks the death of Christ Who paid for our sins by saying more than Christ and His cross are needed, we must earn our salvation.
It is also a big money maker for the RCC.
Purgatory is a doctrine of satan.
If purgatory existed the Word of God would speak of it extensively afterall it would be of paramount importance, yet is not mentioned once in either name or details of.
hooray for strawmen....
More ridiculous clap-trap from a member of a church NOT built upon Jesus’ Rock.
among many things but let’s start with this whopper : Pastor John MacArthur of Grace Community Church described this deceptive hoax brilliantly. He said: “Purgatory is what makes the whole system work. Take out Purgatory and it’s a hard sell to be a Catholic. Purgatory is the safety net, when you die, you don’t go to hell. You go [to Purgatory] and get things sorted out etc ...............LOL ! so pastor ? catholicism has no hell ? no mortal sin ?
and all followers of your religion die spotless, without stain of sin ?
please give your references for your self made ideas that to begin with—catholics do not believe in hell as according to you, purgatory takes care of it all.
I pray for your conversion.
Purgatory is what makes catholics secure in their sin... They know they are sinners..but Catholicism offers no gospel cure for that sin...
Just asking but didn’t this come out of some verse in Maccabees? And during the Middle Ages people could pay their relatives out of Purgatory? When Jesus died He descended into Hell, not Purgatory. Just a clueless wondering.
“but Catholicism offers no gospel cure for that sin..”
Believe what you will, but if you believe that you are wrong in so many ways. Catholicism is all about the Gospel cure for sin.
Can you tell us what the gospel cure for sin is?
