And what did Jesus do to the foreigners?
He reached out to them.
Hmmm
(PS. I do not support illegal immigration, but I do support immigration for those who do it the right way by learning English, taking classes and the subsequent test, etc.)
I must admit I do not like foreigners. However, any foreigner that makes it to America, LEGALLY, I support 100%.
Most foreign owned business’s I frequent know the English language. They seem happy, well adjusted and are willing to engage in conversation.
I have also learned, through my talking with them, they work long hard a$$ hours, just to make it.
They hate welfare, any handouts, just as I do. The economy sucks right now. We speak about it. They are also quite ticked off at the illegals, who “cut in line”, while they had to work their butts off to achieve what they have.
What we should insist on if and when we resume legal immigration, is that the person have a trade (no non-skilled labor need apply, we already have a bumper crop graduating yearly - or rather dropping out weekly), a sponsor that will provide whatever that the person needs, should they need anything, and a one-way ticket back to whatever country they came from, along with $5,000 cash to pay for their temporary stay, if need be.
That's around what my step-son needed (except the job as Canada refused employment to any non-Canadian in the 1980s), a 30-day Visa, cash and proof of one-way transportation home to U.S.
When we don't have enough employment for American workers, we certainly do NOT need non-U.S. workers streaming into U.S. in search of "a better life."
