I must admit I do not like foreigners. However, any foreigner that makes it to America, LEGALLY, I support 100%.
Most foreign owned business’s I frequent know the English language. They seem happy, well adjusted and are willing to engage in conversation.
I have also learned, through my talking with them, they work long hard a$$ hours, just to make it.
They hate welfare, any handouts, just as I do. The economy sucks right now. We speak about it. They are also quite ticked off at the illegals, who “cut in line”, while they had to work their butts off to achieve what they have.
It’s these kind of legal immigrants that make America tick.
At one time there were signs:
No Catholics need apply.
No Irish need apply.
No Japanese need apply.
Many of these people’s children now own their own businesses because they understand the value of free enterprise. Yes, it takes a lot of hours and hard work druedgery, but these people seem to treasure their freedom and are willing to learn English and become legalized, naturalized citizens. They are often very industrious and quiet about their accomplishments. One person who did it the right was was Archbishop Jose Gomez. His work for legal immigration is being attacked, but he studied English, took the test and is a naturalized U. S. citizen!
Bravo for him. (And all who do likewise.)
