The "Christian" Terrorist Who Wasn't Very Christian
Worthy News ^ | 7/26/2011 | Josep[h DeCaro

Anders Behring Breivik’s 1,500-page manifesto shows that the Norwegian terrorist’s depiction as a “right-wing, Christian fundamentalist” by many in the mass media may be as inaccurate as that of their so-called “Christian” bomber, Oklahoma City terrorist Tim McVeigh.

Breivik was charged with two violent attacks in and around Oslo: a bombing in the capital that killed seven, and a shooting spree at a youth political retreat that killed more than 80, but though he was called a Christian for these most unChristian acts, Breivik’s own words reveal he isn’t very religious and actually prefers science over scripture.

He did not claim to be a Christian. He claimed to be a Darwinist. He claimed to defend “Western Christian Culture”, nothing religious. He doesn’t even seem to believe in God.

It’s a common meme that Christianity is as bad as Islam. I can’t remember how many times I’ve had the Crusades and the Inquisition thrown in my face as proof that Christians are violent.

For this reason, there are likely millions of Americans who would love to see ALL religions eliminated or driven underground. You can’t dissuade them with any proof, including the recorded words of Christ. They believe what they want to believe regardless. No doubt that’s related to another common meme that truth is entirely subjective.

Ironically I think it’s more the words of Paul that they quote (and attrbute to Jesus) and not so much the actual words of Jesus.

Breivik seems to have emulated Friedrich Nietzsche, the German philosopher who suggested that religion was used as a crutch for avoiding decisive actions.

Even the SPLC Intelligence Report admitted that Eric Rudolph the Atlanta Olympics bomber was a follower of Nietzsche, a pot head, and was not a Christian. Of course others of the Lefties there ignored their own and continued to imply that he was a devout Christian.

Thus nothing deters the employees of the MSM and other 1960s Marxist campus/street revolutionary rabble and their ideological issue. Their Alinsky's Rules For Spoiled Brats says attack, attack, lie, lie and that's what they are doing.

The MSM is having a Hot-Damn!-a-white-Christian-terrorist-man moment and truth, professionalism will not be denied.

.. or as I am wont to say, today's employees of the MSM are skid marks on Journalism's shorts.

"and that's the way it is . . . ."

It should not be overlooked that Norwegian churches are state funded and controlled.

In other words, aside from the mass murder thing, he was just another right wing "civilizationist."

Unfortunately, the Right is full of these secular "civilizationists" to whom chr*stianity is nothing but "the cultural heritage of Western Man." And the conflict with islam seems to bring them out of the woodwork.
