Yet another case of academic alien-ation in Roswell, New Mexico?

A lawsuit by Liberty Counsel alleges that the Roswell Independent School District retaliated against a school Christian group by suspending its members after giving Krispy Kreme doughnuts with Bible verses to their teachers; one student was sent home and two others spent a Saturday morning alone in a classroom for four hours.

They should try it with koranic verses and see what happens.

There would be no complaints if these were verses from the Koran.

“Progressives” are cowards and bullies. They fear retaliation by the “Religion of Peace”, but pummel Christians because they know they are peaceful.

I think we can safely add to the list of sins suffered by Progressives the cold hard fact that they hate Krispy Kreme doughnuts.

It's really difficult to imagine how burned out a soul has to be to hate Krispy Kreme, but there you have it.

And in Roswell too!

Because neither this post or the article stipulated, I'm guessing that the bible verse was on a napkin or some such rather than the actual donut such that the pastry was still edible?

As an atheist, this doesn't really concern me overly much as I fail to see where this really concerns me.

However, as a ten year naval veteran, that spent those years ensuring that Americans have the right to do such, it really pisses me off. I have spent my life by the three guiding documents of this country, the Declaration, the Constitution, and the Bill of Rights. As I understand it, these students with their “holy donuts” are innocent of any wrongdoing, but the recipients, should they object, have the right to have their wishes respected as well. Were someone to hand me a donut with a christian message on the napkin, I would say “Thanks for the donut, I don't need the napkin”.

With 58 years under my belt, I've learned that what goes around, comes around. The libtards will get theirs soon enough.

Carry on, smartly !

In the past, the Christian students gave sandwiches, hot chocolate and candy canes to the student body and faculty; they also distributed rocks painted with “Psalm 139,” but when a student contemplating suicide over a past abortion was given a model baby with the Scripture, “You are fearfully and wonderfully made,” she cried and prayed with them.

The article makes it appear the students helped the possibly suicidal teen? .....or was the school afraid the "model baby" might push the teen over the edge thinking about the past abortion?

The untold horrors of being exposed to this...{/sarcasm off}

Psalm 139

New King James Version (NKJV)

1 O LORD, You have searched me and known me.

2 You know my sitting down and my rising up; You understand my thought afar off.

3 You comprehend my path and my lying down, And are acquainted with all my ways.

4 For there is not a word on my tongue, But behold, O LORD, You know it altogether.

5 You have hedged me behind and before, And laid Your hand upon me.

6 Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; It is high, I cannot attain it.

7 Where can I go from Your Spirit? Or where can I flee from Your presence?

8 If I ascend into heaven, You are there; If I make my bed in hell, behold, You are there.

9 If I take the wings of the morning, And dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea,

10 Even there Your hand shall lead me, And Your right hand shall hold me.

11 If I say, “Surely the darkness shall fall[a] on me,” Even the night shall be light about me;

12 Indeed, the darkness shall not hide from You, But the night shines as the day; The darkness and the light are both alike to You.

13 For You formed my inward parts; You covered me in my mother’s womb.

14 I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made;[b] Marvelous are Your works, And that my soul knows very well.

15 My frame was not hidden from You, When I was made in secret, And skillfully wrought in the lowest parts of the earth.

16 Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed. And in Your book they all were written, The days fashioned for me, When as yet there were none of them.

17 How precious also are Your thoughts to me, O God! How great is the sum of them!

18 If I should count them, they would be more in number than the sand; When I awake, I am still with You.

19 Oh, that You would slay the wicked, O God! Depart from me, therefore, you bloodthirsty men.

20 For they speak against You wickedly; Your enemies take Your name in vain.

21 Do I not hate them, O LORD, who hate You? And do I not loathe those who rise up against You?

22 I hate them with perfect hatred; I count them my enemies.

23 Search me, O God, and know my heart; Try me, and know my anxieties;

24 And see if there is any wicked way in me, And lead me in the way everlasting.

I just realized perhaps it was a good thing I didn’t become a Christian until after my 18th birthday. My mother would have had a fortune in legal bills.

I am not an atheist but i can see that if kids are doing their own thing in school, for instance showing their love for the one who set us free from religion, namely Jesus ( the Christ) who taught us to do unto others as we would have them do unto us, well all of that is alright but what about the reason the kids are in school to begin with?

If the kids have their mind on the Gospel of the Lord how are they to know how to have sexual relations with other students, and how do they know if they should have straight relationships or gay relationships?

In other words, to put it plain how can they know if they are queeer or straight, if the kids pay more attention to Christ than they do the teachers how can the teachers turn them in to Gays and socialists?

If the teachers are to do their job the Gospel of Christ must cease.

The Roswell District admin are such hypocrites. They don’t follow any laws. They screw people over on a regular basis and need to be investigated for several laws they break.
