It’s been the habit of RCs on these threads for years to declare victory when the have been shown to be in error and without a rebuttal.
The trend continues.

My “non-response is noted?”
Here it is again:
_________________________________________________________
When someone is determined to believe something they have made up, there is no point in discussing anything.
Anyone else, feel free to get some REAL information about what it is, what it means, what the ramifications are, and whether the statements here are accurate. Or not.
_________________________________________________
That is not a non-response. It is a refusal to engage in a fruitless discussion with anyone who cannot face reality.
It is an invitation for observers to get accurate information for themselves, instead of relying on hysterical hyperbole. When someone feels a need to characterize that as a non-response, that characterization becomes a “tell.”

May all our sons grow up to be men of Christ - strong, adult and not afraid to smack down the wolves among the sheep. Men are commanded, not asked, to act as strong leaders ready to give their lives for their wives and by extension their families. I don't see how being repressed by a bunch of priests as they abuse children fits with that.
Eph. 5:25 Husbands love your wives just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for her,
Where is the love of your family that allows deviants to prey on your children or your neighbors child. Men need to stand up and act like they've been told to act.

Anyone who watches the DVD, "Deliver Us From Evil," cannot help but feel sorry for the emasculated, defeated fathers of these victims. They are in anguish, knowing they've forsaken their Christian duty to protect their families while wolves have destroyed their children. They are broken men.

I didn’t “make something up,” so perhaps you’re talking about RC apologists who look to Wikipedia for facts and deny their own church documents.

Snark is not a sound defense of a person’s faith. Sadly, it simply reveals a lack of Scriptural understanding.
Pray for it.

Because CS is not the problem. The problem is the sinfullness of human pride, lust, deception, greed, and plain evil.
As frustrating as it is and this frustrates me in civil and criminal law as well at time, any simple steps do have to respect the due process of the accused and the presumption of innocents.
It is hard to stomach I know. But I personally want no guilty party to have a ground for appeal based on sloppy leg work and abuse of the above. When convicted whether under canon or criminal law I want the conviction to stick. I want the penalty to be the highest allowable under law. Yes I know justice must be tempered by mercy but I think mercy is not hindered by appliation of right justice.

CS is "still in effect," and it most certainly does prevent victims and their families from going to anyone other than a member of the church with the accusations, under penalty of excommunication.
That's the RCC with it's intimidation and control tactics. These victims/families/friends should just walk away from this hell bent church and it's tactics as Jesus is waiting for them to learn of HIM/His Word.
In every way the judge is to remember that it is never right for him to bind the accused by an oath to tell the truth.
Right from the master of lies himself. There is no way, anyone with a mind of their own, would be a part of such deception.

Whenever a complaint is received by an Archdiocesan official that a cleric has sexually abused a minor, the complainant, or, if the complainant is a child, the complainant's parents or guardians, will be strongly urged to report the allegation immediately and directly to the appropriate District Attorney's Office.
Why doesn't the official make the call to the DA himself on behalf of their wounded sheep?

"That is a a laughable and ignorant PR line put out by Rome to convince the world everyone is as tawdry as they are."Well, you are certainly an expert on laughable and ignorant PR, but you missed the mark on this one. Oh, well. Hate is a leading cause of myopia.
Qui Bono ( for all of you fake doctors, fake jnurses, fake moms, fake ex-Catholics and fake war-hero NCOs that means for whom the benefit). In spite of the faux outrage and concern for the victims the chief benefactor of these continued attacks on the Church are those whose social agendas a opposed by the Church. Communists, Nazis, pro-abortionists, gay rights groups, euthanasia supporters all benefit from your continued screeds and falsifications so your true agendas and loyalties are easy to see and that you posing as conservatives is itself only a laughable and ignorant PR trick.

Wikipedia is self edited and self contributed. On matters Catholic it is actually quite accurate. I’ve double checked them numerous times.

Prove that it prevents victims from going to police. You persist in this misinformation. We all know the word for a person who engages in such persistance but the mods hate honesty in this forum so you get away with it.
I wish we could call a spade a spade.

Galatians 6:7-9
7 Do not be deceived: God is not mocked, for whatever one sows, that will he also reap. 8For the one who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption, but the one who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life. 9And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.
In other words, metmom, what goes around, comes around, which is a vast consolation to me when I consider some of the posts on the RF. Payback will indeed "suck" as it was so crudely put in your post.
