Fearful for their safety, some Coptic Christians have begun to flee Egypt, according to John Pontifex, spokesman for Aid to the Church in Need.
Offering an overview of recent violence against Christians in the Cairo suburb of Imbaba, Pontifex told Vatican Radio that “there is this great fear and great uncertainty that many people feel about the future for Christianity in an area where all the time there are reports coming through of Christians saying, ‘We want to leave, we do not feel safe here.’”
Only 0.3% of Egypt's 79.1 million people are Catholic, according to Vatican statistics; in all, an estimated 9% of Egyptians are Christian, most of them Coptic Orthodox.

Western countries should take in these Copts, who all have a target painted on their backs, and reduce the number of Muzlims they accept by the same numbers. If it were up to me, I would forbid the immigration of all Muzlims to Western countries — stop it cold. We have enough of them here already, planning ways to kill us.

Not surprised. Sadly, this is the begining of the end of a Christian community not only in Egypt, but in the Middle East altogether. Look for more Eastern rite/Orthodox Christian communites springing up in America.

You got it. Even in countries such as in Nigeria, trouble is happening between the Christians and Muslims. My parish has some folks from Africa as well. As the Christian faith grows in Africa, so will the perscution.
No news here,the world has been turning a blind eye on towards Eastern Christians in favor of Islamo-fascists.
Difference is that in America, with the fact that Americans have guns, the Islamofacists HAVE TO mind their p’s and q’s.
Well for the last couple of centuries that is.

The cops have more guns, and is it worth a life time in prison.
