True, and yes, though it was just a movie, that line rung pretty true. Right from the beginning, that’s our main problem! Gluttony, etc. we can handle, but pride is the road downwards. For this pastor the more I read about him, the more I feel sorry for his predicament and realise that any one of us could do something this stupid, starting small and it then snowballing

Does anybody have any verifiable knowledge that clergy are especially prevalent fake veteran pretenders? It would be interesting to see a percentage breakdown of occupations. So many preachers I know are real veterans (like Dave Roever) that I find this statement hard to believe. Dave Roever also runs a sort of seminary or training camp for amputated and severely burned combat veterans to become preachers. I guess we know they aren't fakers.
