I would like prayer for my elderly mother. She's very ill and I'm not sure how long she has. She's bounced back before but, this time it's pretty bad. Long story short she had a bad fall, ended up with a head injury and broken wrist. She is just not getting better, losing weight, feels nauseated, won't eat, weak and down right miserable. The fall was 4 weeks ago. Tonight I talked to her and she said she had a burning in her chest. The doctor thinks it might have something to do with her aorta, which felt a bit enlarged. He was not completely sure. It could be indigestion. She's always had stomach problems, she says she's never felt like this before. Because of her age, 89, and her frailty they can't operate even if they needed to. She just keeps telling us she wants to die, she's tired and sick and just wants to go to be with the Lord.
Prayers for your Mother’s comfort and healing.
Blessings, etabeta
Prayers up for her and you. I am caring for my dad who also says he wants to die. I am sure it’s been a long hard road. Thank God we have a good God that answers our prayers and knows our sufferings and tells us to cast our care upon him because He cares for us.
He cares for you and your mom. He sees your every tear. Thank God we have a great and merciful God!
you bet
It breaks your heart, I'm sure. As much as you love her and don't want to lose her, supporting her and understanding her feelings are very different from wanting to say goodbye. She needs to know that you respect her feelings and know that she will be with the Lord, and hurt nevermore.
A prayer has been said for your Mother, you and the rest of the family. May God provide for every comfort to all of you.

Prayers up for your mother and for you. I lost my dear elderly mother around this time of year 4 years ago, so I know how hard it is.
I think my sister said they did a CT scan on her today. But, there’s so much going on I can’t honestly remember for sure. I’m getting all of this second hand too. I live about 1100 miles away and haven’t been home yet. I was waiting to see if she regained enough strength and go home to stay with her awhile. The doc said she had the symptoms of a leaky aorta but, it could be indigestion or something to do with not enough circulation in her upper intestines, stomach?(something like that) I forget what he called the condition. Both of which would need major surgery and she is to weak and old for that.
Thank you, it is hard, death is such an ugly thing. Thank God for Jesus. I don’t know how people get through life without him.
