The doctor thinks it might have something to do with her aorta, which felt a bit enlarged. He was not completely sure.

Has he done any sort of imaging that would confirm or deny this unsureness?

I think my sister said they did a CT scan on her today. But, there’s so much going on I can’t honestly remember for sure. I’m getting all of this second hand too. I live about 1100 miles away and haven’t been home yet. I was waiting to see if she regained enough strength and go home to stay with her awhile. The doc said she had the symptoms of a leaky aorta but, it could be indigestion or something to do with not enough circulation in her upper intestines, stomach?(something like that) I forget what he called the condition. Both of which would need major surgery and she is to weak and old for that.
