Nope.
Even if you prayed 24hrs a day/7days a week there is no way to individually pray for every person in the world. When I pray, I pray for those that are suffering who actually love God and don’t spit in His face.
If praying for a sick child, sick mother, or sick friend who loves God (instead of this ass) makes me a “bad Christian” then so be it.
"My dear, why are you sobbing?" a voice from the sky suddenly appeared
The girl looked up "I tried to go to church this morning but the people inside scorned me and demanded that I leave as I did not deserve to be there." she replied.
The voice laughed, "my dear, do not let that make you sad. I've been trying to get into that church myself for many years now and they still refuse to let me in as well."
Why do people who look forward to eternal bliss after death pray to have their lives extended?
It doesn’t have to be one or the other. Just pray for him, I wouldn’t wish his fate without Jesus on anyone. Jesus died for Christopher too and if not for the grace of God we would all be headed for hell.
Oh dear, then you would not have prayed for me; I was the most obnoxious non-believer 37 years ago. Fortunately some faithful friends looked beyond my fierce veneer and prayed me in anyway, thank you God!
The unsaved can be prayed for as a whole, Jesus knows how to read hearts when prayers are uttered and groaned. We, as Christians, sell Jesus short when we forget to add the ones who need a doctor.
You can’t pray for every individual, but you can pray for individuals you know, or those for whom others you know have requested prayers.
No one can be indwelled by the Holy Spirit and remain unchanged.
“If praying for a sick child, sick mother, or sick friend who loves God (instead of this ass) makes me a bad Christian then so be it.”
I was a self satisfied self centered ass who thought “religion was a way for old ladies and cripples to feel they had a stake in the game”. If anybody prayed for me I’m damn grateful. Hearing the voice of the Holy Spirit took a while for me.
