In a day when many scholars have reduced Christ to a historical or purely figurative being, this seven-part documentary series stands to affirm His divinity by reconciling the historical Christ with the Christ of religious tradition.
Filmed in part on location in the Holy Land and in conjunction with the Neal A. Maxwell Institute for Religious Scholarship, Messiah: Behold the Lamb of God is the first documentary that covers all phases of the Savior's life - spanning His premortal existence to the resurrection and restoration of the gospel - all told from a Latter-day Saint perspective.

52 And let mine handmaid, Emma Smith, areceive all those that have been given unto my servant Joseph, and who are virtuous and pure before me; and those who are not pure, and have said they were pure, shall be destroyed, saith the Lord God.
53 For I am the Lord thy God, and ye shall obey my voice; and I give unto my servant Joseph that he shall be made ruler over many things; for he hath been afaithful over a few things, and from henceforth I will strengthen him.
54 And I command mine handmaid, Emma Smith, to abide and acleave unto my servant Joseph, and to none else. But if she will not abide this commandment she shall be bdestroyed, saith the Lord; for I am the Lord thy God, and will destroy her if she abide not in my law.
55 But if she will not abide this commandment, then shall my servant Joseph do all things for her, even as he hath said; and I will bless him and multiply him and give unto him an ahundredfold in this world, of fathers and mothers, brothers and sisters, houses and lands, wives and children, and crowns of beternal lives in the eternal worlds.
56 And again, verily I say, let mine handmaid aforgive my servant Joseph his trespasses; and then shall she be forgiven her trespasses, wherein she has trespassed against me; and I, the Lord thy God, will bless her, and multiply her, and make her heart to brejoice.
That is the funniest thing of all.
As a serious expert /s (lol) on Vodka I can tell you this:
In a blind taste test, I will wager that no one can tell the difference between any brand of Vodka. Matter of fact often one finds that the cheap grocery store brands are the best of the lot. Mainly I use Kamkchatka which costs about 12.50 for a 1.75 liter bottle.
Well, according to some prominent mormon apostles, both the mormon god and mormon jesus are polygamists and they supposedly have “proved” it.
Although none have ever seen that “proof”. I suspect that the “proof” of the following assertion is more along the lines of 80 proof that you and UB are talking about. Or there was some serious peyote action going on.

“I am concerned for you, CC, and the rest of the anti-Moromn gang on FR as you all come across as people who have been seriously brain-washed. I will continue to pray for you because the Holy Spirit can overcome even your willful blindness.”
..............
I love your expression here, PD, that we come across as people who have been “seriously brainwashed.”
Let’s see... in one corner we have Mormonism, a true American Cult.
Mormonism is based on feelings.
The feelings are to confirm that a former treasure scammer is a prophet.
The feelings are to confirm that a total horndog/adulterer is a holy representative of God.
There are no objective facts to support mormonism.
There is no objective evidence to support any of the wild claims of mormonism.
Mormons believe there are millions or trillions of gods - just like the false religions at the time of Israel.
They believe they can become a god.
They believe there is a Mother God.
They believe the Father God and the Mother God BREED IN HEAVEN!
Works salvation after a mormon does “all he can do”.
Mormonism has no logical support for any of its wild claims.
You are wearing magic underwear, for crying out loud!
In the other corner... Christianity.
Objective Facts
Objective Logic
Objective Evidence
Fulfillment of hundreds of prophecies.
Inner testimony of the Holy Spirit
The Holy Word of God
ONE GOD - just like He said in the Old Testament.
Total payment of every sin by grace and apart from works.
Eternal security for all believers
Oh, we’re terribly brainwashed PD. If only we could not be so brainwashed and believe that great mormon stuff and wear the magic underwear!
Thanks for the humor this morning PD!

I get very creative myself after a few pops. I suspect old Orson used to go down to the dance hall and have serious revelations himself while using his favorite pickup line above.
"Hey you little cutie, didja know that Jesus and God were polygs?
I sometimes, sometimes, wonder what those guys talked about behind closed doors with each other.
Things like the WoW. Banning tea and coffee out of spite because the women were complaining about tobacco spit and booze.
And then running saloons making profits from booze and still smoking/chewing after they had rec’d the “revelation” regarding WoW.
Comparing “notes” on their conquests, etc. Probably trying to see who could get to 100 first and win a case of 80 proof or something.
There have been hints of unwholesome gatherings being held in the temple in the early days...when I have time I will do more research on this, but I imagine the Great Mormon History-Cleansing Machine has already done its work and zapped much of the proof into the vault.
“Actually, Anyone who has REALLY READ them, intellectually and earnestly, using the mind and heart God gave man to reason and learn with, knows Mormonism is true.”

Does that include the contradiction in the BOM and Mormon doctrine?
Does that include Mormonism of the 19th century and the 21st century doesn’t look the same?
Does that include the 1830 ed. of the BOM and the 1985 ed. of the BOM not being the same?
Does that include the five or six accounts of the first vision?
Do you if Moroni is “a god” now, if eternal progression is true? What about Mormon?
I’m confused....What’s true about Mormonism again? Does “truth” change?
Correction to the above...
Do you know if Moroni is a god now, if eternal progression is true? What about Mormon?
You need to look here. You are being misled as is obvious by your worn out propaganda.

Interesting how your red text is presented as a quote being signed by Joseph Smith.
In actuality it is a bit of truth mixed with a bit of misrepresentation mixed with a bit of your opinion. And of course your own made up verbage.
Shame on you yet again.
You should really look into these “issues” you seem to have. You might learn all is not as you portray it to be.
Have a great day!
There's still a little bit out there, like this one, quite indicative of the scorn and contempt held for those who had a so-called "divine role" within mormonism.
Some of the men were excessive chewers of the filthy weed, and their disgusting slobbering and spitting cause Mrs. [Emma] Smith... to make the ironical remark that It would be a good thing if a revelation could be had declaring the use of tobacco a sin, and commanding its suppression.... The matter was taken up and joked about, one of the brethren suggested that the revelation should also provide for a total abstinence from tea and coffee drinking, intending this as a counter dig at the sisters.
- High Priest David Whitmer (1805 - 1888), one of the Three Witnesses, quote in Des Moines Daily News, October 16, 1886, p. 20
And what happened? Well, read the WoW, if the men couldn't have their tobacco, the women couldn't have their tea and coffee. Although, it's been shown that compliance by the men was quite another matter. Booze and tobacco were used and sold by mormons for years afterwards.
Quite convenient I'd say.
It is all in your links...
Perhaps you should REALLY READ them, and you will see I am right...
