Messiah: Behold The Lamb Of God (REAL Mormon / LDS)
BYUtv ^

Posted on 03/17/2011 4:58:35 AM PDT by Paragon Defender

In a day when many scholars have reduced Christ to a historical or purely figurative being, this seven-part documentary series stands to affirm His divinity by reconciling the historical Christ with the Christ of religious tradition.

Filmed in part on location in the Holy Land and in conjunction with the Neal A. Maxwell Institute for Religious Scholarship, Messiah: Behold the Lamb of God is the first documentary that covers all phases of the Savior's life - spanning His premortal existence to the resurrection and restoration of the gospel - all told from a Latter-day Saint perspective.

Losing it? Bwahahaha, you lost the first time you thought you could post the drek of this anti-Christ cult and not be opposed at FR! And now for soemthing remarkable about your religious teaching, PD:

"Jesus was the bridegroom at the marriage of Cana of Galilee...We say it was Jesus Christ who was married, to be brought into relation whereby he could see his seed [children] before he was crucified (Orson Hyde, Journal of Discourses, vol. 2, p. 82).

"There was a marriage in Cana of Galilee; and on a careful reading of that transaction, it will be discovered that non less a person that Jesus Christ was married on that occasion. If he was never married, his intimacy with Mary and Martha an the other Mary also whom Jesus loved, must have been highly unbecoming and improper to say the best of it." (Orson Hyde, Journal of Discourses, vol. 4, p. 259).

"In the Church councils, it was spoken of: "Joseph F. Smith_ He spoke upon the marriage in Cana of Galilee. He thought Jesus was the bridegroom and Mary and Martha the brides."(Journal of Wilford Woodruff, July 22, 1883).

[Since you such a truster of blasphemies, you'll love the next one, PD] "The grand reason of the burst of public sentiment in anathemas upon Christ and his disciples, causing his crucifixion, was evidently based upon polygamy, according to the testimony of the philosophers who rose in that age. A belief in doctrine of a plurality of wives caused the persecution of Jesus and his followers. We might almost think they were Mormons (Jedediah Grant, Journal of Discourses, vol. 1, p. 346).

"One thing is certain, that there were several holy women that great loved Jesus, such as Mary and Martha her sister, and Mary Magdalene; and Jesus greatly loved them and associated with the much; and when he arose from the dead, instead of first showing himself to his chosen witnesses, the Apostles, He appeared first to these women, or at least to one of them--namely, Mary Magdalene. Now, it would be very natural for a husband in the resurrection to appear first to his own dear wives, and afterwards show himself to his other friends. If all the acts of Jesus were written, we no doubt should learn that these beloved women were his wives." (Orson Pratt, The Seer, p. 159).

Well, in typical post and run LDS inc style, the defender of blasphemies has posted his.her/its spam links and run away, with the closing assertion that claiming Mormonism is blasphemous is ‘100% false’. Well, it can’t be 100% because the above posts expose a few of the blasphemies at the heart of LDS inc dogma. So, I wonder if the pd will revise and extend his/her/its remarks? Bwahahaha

One more before bed.

Yeah you seem to be extra losing it tonight. I can practically see the froth dripping.

And you have one thing (one more thing) really backwards.

I only started posting in the religious section because of the propaganda attacks of the anti-Mormon gang here. It is your gangs attacks that are not going unanswered.

I am afraid you are too blinded to see that YOU are the cult member. You can break free though. Just as I and many others have.

I will, at the very least and as long as I am able, continue to post links to the truth and articles illustrating our true beliefs.

Have a good night! Say your prayers! I will pray for you.

Sorry, servant of the most low, I am no longer able to pray for you. I know, it is so unChriustian to just quite caring if you accomplish your desired ends with your father for eternity in torment, but such is the limit of patience for a defender of blasphemies. A to frothing? LOL, you wish I was so irrational that I couldn’t finmd and post the blasphemies found throughout the teachings from your religion, in the Journal of Discourses, the Pearl of uselessness and other fables from Joe Smith, sexual predator of married women, lying false prophet and peepstone diviner who establish the septic tank you worship over.

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints

1. We believe in God, the Eternal Father, and in His Son, Jesus Christ, and in the Holy Ghost.

2. We believe that men will be punished for their own sins, and not for Adam's transgression.

3. We believe that through the Atonement of Christ, all mankind may be saved, by obedience to the laws and ordinances of the Gospel.

4. We believe that the first principles and ordinances of the Gospel are: first, Faith in the Lord Jesus Christ; second, Repentance; third, Baptism by immersion for the remission of sins; fourth, Laying on of hands for the gift of the Holy Ghost.

5. We believe that a man must be called of God, by prophecy, and by the laying on of hands by those who are in authority, to preach the Gospel and administer in the ordinances thereof.

6. We believe in the same organization that existed in the Primitive Church, namely, apostles, prophets, pastors, teachers, evangelists, and so forth.

7. We believe in the gift of tongues, prophecy, revelation, visions, healing, interpretation of tongues, and so forth.

8. We believe the Bible to be the word of God as far as it is translated correctly; we also believe the Book of Mormon to be the word of God.

9. We believe all that God has revealed, all that He does now reveal, and we believe that He will yet reveal many great and important things pertaining to the Kingdom of God.

10. We believe in the literal gathering of Israel and in the restoration of the Ten Tribes; that Zion (the New Jerusalem) will be built upon the American continent; that Christ will reign personally upon the earth; and, that the earth will be renewed and receive its paradisiacal glory.

11. We claim the privilege of worshiping Almighty God according to the dictates of our own conscience, and allow all men the same privilege, let them worship how, where, or what they may.

12. We believe in being subject to kings, presidents, rulers, and magistrates, in obeying, honoring, and sustaining the law.

13. We believe in being honest, true, chaste, benevolent, virtuous, and in doing good to all men; indeed, we may say that we follow the admonition of Paul—We believe all things, we hope all things, we have endured many things, and hope to be able to endure all things. If there is anything virtuous, lovely, or of good report or praiseworthy, we seek after these things.

Read it as a Parsimonious Defrauder endorsement of the blasphemies. It knows for whom it works.

Does any of your links have the instructions on what to do during the MORMON Temple rituals?

I’ll bet folks would REALLY like to read them themselves; instead of just HEARSAY from ex-mormons.
