What's the historical rate of involvement in these scandals? Between 1.5 and 5%

That is simply wishful thinking on the part of Rome, according to our own lying eyes.

Dozens and dozens of pederast priests in ONE U.S. CITY, sometimes two and three pederast priests in the same parish.

Over $700 million paid out on one day in Los Angeles to settle priest sex abuse cases.

Over three billion dollars in criminal penalties assessed so far.

And that number grows every day.

Read the Grand Jury's report. This is a systemic, institutionalized, historic evil at the heart of the RCC priesthood which believes itself to be an "alter Christus."

"Another Christ."

No wonder their sins are so scarlet. And as long as members of the RCC look for reasons to protect these child-raping sinners and excuse their death-loving sins, the sickness will continue to infect not only these priests, but the children they are charged to protect.

And no one says this sin isn't committed in other churches.

But other churches report these crimes to the police. They fire errant pastors who then are tried and convicted and sent to jail.

What do you call a pederast priest?

A Father.

What do you call a pederast minister?

An inmate.

Rome has written and enforced Crimen Sollicitationis which clearly says the papal oath of secrecy is given to everyone involved in this crime, including the victim and his family who are threatened with excommunication if they tell anyone about this sexual abuse except a bishop.

No police. No teachers. And in fact, not even a parent if they don't already know. The victim is sworn to complete secrecy.

If this were ANY other institution but Rome performing these sins and shutting down all investigation, they would be in jail and the keys thrown away.

” One verse and still they get that verse wrong.

Paul corrected that error dozens of times...”

So, you are saying the Word of God has to be corrected?

The Word of God is inerrant. Picking and choosing God’s Word is not recommended. Believe it all. There is no ambiguity in James’ warning. Shall I post the entire chapter? It is very clear.

You do realize that over 90% of Catholic priests are NOT deviants, right?

Do you eat cookies with 10% poop?

Sarcasm is the refuge of a mind barren of wit and discernment.

And you have demonstrated that you lack both of the latter.

That’s an incredibly ridiculous analogy. There are sinners in the Church. In every church, for that matter. That doesn’t mean we should close the doors forever. Good grief!

I gave you a correct and Scriptural understanding of James.

The fact that Roman Catholics do not comprehend James and instead labor to earn their salvation when Christ's work on the cross is the only work required is not my problem.

Thank God.

“I gave you a correct and Scriptural understanding of James”

No. Let me clarify for you. Your interpretation is not Scripture....James is the Scripture. Is it wrong? James was very clear in what he said. So clear that Martin Luther considered throwing the book out.

When St. James calls people ignoramuses for believing faith without fruit is enough, he qualifies where he thinks the ignorance is. Saying your “faith is dead” without fruit is hardly ambiguous.

Scripture is clear. Heed it.

James said faith without good works is a dead faith.

No one disagrees with that fact.

Good works are the evidence of our salvation, not a requirement for it.

"For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

Not of works, lest any man should boast." -- Ephesians 2:8-9

How much clearer do the words have to get? The correct and Scriptural understanding does not deny either Paul or James. The Roman Catholic understanding clearly denies Paul.

Again.

Some of your conclusions are mistaken regarding the cause of this.

This crime has been dealt with before in the history of the Church. Both in the Rule of St. Benedict and throughout the history of the Church, the sin of sodomy was severely punished among the clergy (to say nothing of pedophilia).

Most recently (in my reading), St. Pius X defrocked priests or removed them to monastaries to do penance. The same punishment has even been used for clergy taking usury. It is true the homosexuals took over seminaries and whole dioceses; it is a crime that cries out to God for punishment.

The present hand slapping of these priests is horrifying. The Crimen Sollicitationis is an outrage, indeed. The Church is in unprecedented times.

A "celibate" priesthood made up of men who are told they are "another Christ" is now and always has been just asking for trouble.

And trouble has found the RCC and the children they are supposed to be shepherding safely.

No man is "another Christ," literally or figuratively. Only evil can come from that blasphemy.

THE AMAZING GIFT OF THE PRIESTHOOD
by Father Kenneth Baker

"...Simply stated, the Catholic priest is another Christ. Through his ordination he has been granted the amazing gift of being a channel of divine grace for the eternal salvation of those he come into contact with — both in his official ministry and in his personal life..."

Blasphemy.

Roman Catholics incorrectly believe that their good works are required in order to receive salvation.

That is not what Scripture teaches. Good works are the evidence of salvation; not the cause of it.

You must cite. That is false, and Catholics do not so maintain. A simple proof is the practice of infant baptism.

“The correct and Scriptural understanding does not deny either Paul or James. The Roman Catholic understanding clearly denies Paul.”

True, your first sentence. Untrue on your second. Catholics accept faith and works...sorry but it is Protestants that deny Scripture and say faith only.

It is done here every day. Catholic belief accepts all of Scripture, not just certain verses. Faith and Works is Scriptural.

Pedaphilia and homosexuality is a recent plague on the Catholic Church.

The practice of celibate priesthood is from the very beginning. And it was Christ who instituted and sent the apostles forth as he was sent forth from the Father. Certainly, Christ to was called a blasphemer by the Jews for identifying himself with the Father. Your accusation is nothing new.

Roman Catholics incorrectly believe that their good works are required in order to receive salvation.

Let me clarify, salvation is achieved by grace. Our good works are required but they do not merit us salvation, that is by grace. And even our good works are inspired by the grace of God and done with the help of the grace of God. Now that cooperation is said to merit us a greater reward, but still all is only done by God's grace. I hope that helps. Both Augustine and Aquinas have written well on this.

salvation is achieved by grace. Our good works are required but they do not merit us salvation

Yes, we've heard Roman Catholics trying to work around the errors of their own catechism. Either good works are the result of our salvation or good works result in our salvation.

Rome, sadly, teaches the latter which is a lie. From the RCC catechism...

2010 - Since the initiative belongs to God in the order of grace, no one can merit the initial grace of forgiveness and justification, at the beginning of conversion. Moved by the Holy Spirit and by charity, we can then merit for ourselves and for others the graces needed for our sanctification, for the increase of grace and charity, and for the attainment of eternal life. Even temporal goods like health and friendship can be merited in accordance with God's wisdom. These graces and goods are the object of Christian prayer. Prayer attends to the grace we need for meritorious actions.

2027 - No one can merit the initial grace which is at the origin of conversion. Moved by the Holy Spirit, we can merit for ourselves and for others all the graces needed to attain eternal life, as well as necessary temporal goods.

Your own catechism says a man's good works "merit for ourselves and for others all the graces need to attain eternal life."

"As well as temporary goods."

You mean like cash and strawberries?

Nothing proves the point of Rome's anti-Scriptural heresies as clearly as its own catechism.
