I gave you a correct and Scriptural understanding of James.

The fact that Roman Catholics do not comprehend James and instead labor to earn their salvation when Christ's work on the cross is the only work required is not my problem.

No. Let me clarify for you. Your interpretation is not Scripture....James is the Scripture. Is it wrong? James was very clear in what he said. So clear that Martin Luther considered throwing the book out.

When St. James calls people ignoramuses for believing faith without fruit is enough, he qualifies where he thinks the ignorance is. Saying your “faith is dead” without fruit is hardly ambiguous.

Scripture is clear. Heed it.
