Lately, there seems to be a lot of conflict on the religion forum. Much of this has been between Catholics, Protestants, and Orthodox. To show that we are all united as Christians and to reduce animosity, I hope we can all agree to one of 4 following statements:
1) I am Catholic. I love Orthodox and Protestant Christians. I consider Orthodox Christians and Protestants to definitely be Christian. All Christians need to work together to defeat our common enemies-- specifically Islam, liberal postmodernism, and totalitarian communism.
2) I am Protestant. I love Orthodox and Catholic Christians. I consider Orthodox Christians and Catholics to definitely be Christian. All Christians need to work together to defeat our common enemies-- specifically Islam, liberal postmodernism, and totalitarian communism.
3) I am an Orthodox Christian. I love Catholic and Protestant Christians. I consider Catholics and Protestants to definitely be Christian. All Christians need to work together to defeat our common enemies-- specifically Islam, liberal postmodernism, and totalitarian communism.
4) I am a non-believer. I love Orthodox, Catholic, and Protestant Christians. I consider Orthodox Christians, Catholics, and Protestants to definitely be Christian. All Christians need to work together to defeat our common enemies-- specifically Islam, liberal postmodernism, and totalitarian communism.
I feel confident that most freepers agree to at least one of these statements, even if they do not say so.
If you agree with any of these statements, please feel free to say so.
Thanks!

It is pretty obvious that I was talking about Quix. Then you should NOT have typed 'some'.
If you have things you 'feel' are bad, you shhould show them; instead of telling a person to 'read thru Quix's replies' to find out what YOU are talking about.
It is 'obvious' that your standards may be a bit different that any other reader that comes across Quix's replies.
We need to see SPECIFICALLY what YOU are complaining about.

'Show me in the BIBLE where Sola Fide ' nice, so Sola Fide is wrong?
You say 'Presbyterians believe in Infant Baptism which isn't Biblical, Replacement Theology, which CERTAINLY isn't Biblical, and in exclusive predestination, which also is not Biblical.' and ' I am OPC Presbyterian, and I have spent many a day of fellowship with my SDA friends.' how can you put those together? SDA folks are not Christian and you spending a day of fellowship with them is spending 'fellowship' or worshipping with non-Christians. That is the long slide to hell, FRiend.

'To have Christian unity, you have to have Christians...Your religion, like the Mormons, believe you must do good works along with your faith so that someday you MIGHT receive salvation...'
Yes, this salvation by works is false. No wonder the Mormons, RCC, pentecostals, adventists, arminian methodists and baptists and other false religions teach this.

And I pointed you to Quixs posting history which has many examples. I think we've found PAragon Defender's separated at birth twin!

I was trying to say that the more observant Christians and Jews are, the more conservative they tend to be. Now THIS I can agree with.

If that means that they now want to take many cheap shots at me, since I will not respond, then so be it. WHAT 'cheap shots'?
You CLAIMED to have examples of Bad Behaviour upthread, and when pressed to show them, you didn't, but have told us all to 'look for them'.
Just WHO is the agitator that the lurkers are going to discover here?

Can you point out where I said any of these people are Christian? If I did, I was mistaken or expressed myself poorly. Using a standard already set: "WHy, just READ what you've typed already!"

Its not our job to be assessing the faith of others. But it IS a Christian's 'job' to point out false teachings.
(Well; according to SO many passages in the BIBLE anyway...)

Some trolls on this website refuse to admit what religion they belong to, so its refreshing for someone to answer without any hesitation. HMMMmmm...

Thanks for the post. Giving some of the nonsense a break sure sounds healthy. It's a lot like having a psycho ex-girlfriend. At first you feel the need to defend yourself against her attacks, then you realize it might just be healthier for everyone if you just move forward. Otherwise she'll never really understand that you don't actually spend every minute of the day thinking about her, as she has deluded herself into believing. A little less attention to the crazies goes a long way to a more sensible life for all - seriously, thanks again.

If I had to pick the biggest offense that I believe Jesus Christ would have to these theological mind wresting matches, it is that it bears no fruit in a world full of people in such great peril of destruction in hell. Matthew 15:26
He replied, "It is not right to take the children's bread and toss it to their dogs."

There is no God to be found when you need him the most. Just WHEN did the Devil convince you of THIS?

If you are having trouble in your life, may God bless you and take away your troubles. God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, Courage to change the things I can, And wisdom to know the difference.

They do not believe in the Trinity, they believe that you can lose your salvation which means they believe you can work to your salvation. Do I need to post a bunch of Scripture that states one CAN?

If you believe that the elect can lose salvation by works, that means that you believe that one’s works also are a factor in one’s salvation.
