umm, no
remember: the ISLAMIC nations that are clearly identified as the nations of the uttermost north, former soviet nations that all end in STAN, they will attack Israel to OVERTHROW the AntiChrist in the mid tribulation
If the Antichrist is MUSLIM, why would muslims invade to overthrow him?
I waswondering myelf for a while if Islam was the real Whorre of Babylon, but I no longer can see it as defensible in any way

If you are a dispensationalist, nothing God does is ever good enough
Dispensationalists can't hope to see the nations submit to the King of kings in this age because:
- The gospel isn't "good enough" to persuade them.
- The power of God isn't "good enough" to get the job done. Somehow, the "all power in heaven and on earth" that Jesus has just isn't up to the task.
- The wisdom of God isn't "good enough" to outperform and outlast the notions of the heathen.
- The purposes of God aren't "good enough" to bring the vast majority of humanity under the umbrella of His grace. Even though Jesus speaks of a few tares in a wheat field at the end of history, we know better. What Jesus REALLY meant to say was that history would end with a few lonely stalks of wheat in a tare field.
- God's Word isn't "good enough" to interpret itself. Instead, to be truly wise, we need to interpret it in terms of the latest lamestream media headlines.
- The non-American parts of the world aren't "good enough" to offset current trends in the USA. 100 million Chinese now pledge allegiance to the Lord Jesus Christ -- but, since they aren't white Americans, we can ignore their testimony.
- The gospel isn't "good enough" to raise our own children in. It's perfectly acceptable for most of them to be raised by the priests of Caesar in the faith of secular humanism.
- The reformation underway in the USA isn't "good enough" to reverse the adverse trends we see.
- The optimistic Calebs and Joshuas among us today aren't "good enough" to take seriously. After all, since We All Know that the giants in the land are invincible, people who proclaim the adequacy of God must be either deluded, or evil!
The fall of soviet communism can be attributed to many factors. For example,
The Gulag Archipelago stunned the
nomenclatura by demonstrating that they were the thugs and villains of history, not the heroic "vanguard of the proletariat." The increasing velocity of business practices made it impossible for a command economy to stay afloat in the computer age. Today, Russia is enjoyed significant economic growth, with a flat tax. Russian kids study the Bible and the Christian faith in their public schools. We no longer live under the fear of nuclear annihilation. The Christians in the former Soviet sphere have liberty to proclaim their faith, and the former atheists were devastated by the collapse of their prior faith.
Islam can only exist behind a firewall. Again, communications breakthroughs are breaking through that firewall. The average Iranian loves America and hates his ruling mullahs, for example. He's also more open to the gospel than at any other time during the last 1,000 years.
We now have a wealth of information at our fingertips, the resources we need to become ever more effective and astute witnesses to our Lord. These are great times to be alive, and our opportunities are expanding, year by year.
OK, so while the doomsayers gripe and moan about the giants who make them feel like grasshoppers, impotent and faithless and fearful, God does have His Calebs and Joshuas who confess -- "these foes are bread for us." "Give me that mountain!" "O for a thousand Turks to sing my great Redeemer's praise!"

The problem I have had with so many other people predicting what the Anti-Christ will be is the predominant use of the Catholic Church as the Church of the Anti-Christ. The Bible clearly states that the Anti-Christ is against Christ. The only world religion in existence right now, which specifically displaces Christ from being God is Islam. Islam is the fount of the Beast and will be the predominant system warring against the believers, both before and during the Tribulation. I could never believe massive witch hunts against believers under a Catholic or Protestant one world religion, but an Islamic Caliphate. Easiest thing in the world.

You’re close.
The final fusion will be Islam with a resurgent soviet-style communism (recovering from a fatal wound) housed within a Turkic-Islamic Union that seeks to unify the entire Muslim world under a new caliphate with an aggressive, global, expansionist mission.
The Beast who will head this union, will be the one called Hazrat Mahdi; the 12th Imam of Muhammad’s lineage (supposedly), and the hand-in-glove personification of the Biblical Antichrist; The Man of Sin.
Of course, since you have studied this thoroughly, you know that Hazrat Mahdi does not come alone, for alongside him comes “The Prophet Jesus” who, by astonishing lack of coincidence, is a hand-in-glove personification of the Biblical False Prophet.
Who’d ‘a’ thunk it??
So, as the kid’s rhyme goes:
Tick-tock, hear the clock, now it’s time to pray...
..for, indeed, something wicked this way comes.

Our Lord told us “Perfect love casts out all fear.” He also told us “Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid, if ye believe in God believe also in me.”
Only with thine eyes shalt thou see the reward of the wicked. Praise and glorify God.

Islam is founded upon Ishmael, the older brother of Isaac. The covenant is through Isaac and Ishmael is very jealous. He wants to slay his brother. He now hates Israel and the light of Zion. If there are any righteous left in the sons of Ishmael, they must love Israel. Islam by cursing Israel, is cursed.
To: Armaggedon
All this will come to pass, it’s on the threshold, that’s why there is this intensity of anger, hatred and utter frustration in the hearts of the nations that don’t know the peace with God.
The enemy knows he has but a short time.
Revelation 12:12, “woe to the earth and the sea, because he devil has come down to you, having great wrath, knowing that he has only a short time.”
The anger of the enemy is nothing but a laughingstock to the Lord. Psalm 2:4 “ He who sits in the heavens laughs. The Lord scoffs at them.”
We may have comfort and refuge with the Almighty, who is our stronghold. Psalm 91:1-2: “He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say to the Lord: my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.”

There is a building revival taking place in the earth, as the advance of the gospel has been accelerating in the last decade. We know that there will be a Great Harvest, and then — right in the middle of this burgeoning revival — up pops the Antichrist (II Thess. 2:8), and False Prophet to sow Great Deception (II Thess. 2:9-11), which results in a sudden Great Apostasy. In II Thessalonians 2:3 we see Paul set the revelation of the man of sin on equal footing with this apostasy; neither event will be done in a closet, nor will there be any mistaking them for anything else when they take place.
In that hour, faith will certainly be crucial, but the testimony of Paul to the Thessalonians (II Thess. 2:10) is that those who are perishing are those who do not receive the love of the Truth so as to be saved. The synthesis there is that many will have their preconceived time lines totally destroyed by the actual sequence of events, and it will require that these people recognize the Hand of The LORD, by faith abandon their demolished ideas, and cling more than ever to the Truth of the Bible. Revelation is, after all, a chronology. Yes, it is interspersed with “parenthetical” passages that make it a bit difficult to sort out, but it is a chronology nonetheless; it’s not that cryptic. Seals, Trumpets, and Bowls; Oh, my!
Sadly, there will be those who, when things shake out totally different from what they thought would happen, will take offense at God instead of apprehending faith, will not press in to lay hold of the Truth, and so will perish.

So true. Any interpretation of prophesy needs to include the allowance for correction. Sequence of events, attempts at correctly applying current events or anything else needs to take backseat to allowing God to work and have faith that He is in charge.

I think that should be the fascist left rather than just the radical left. Radical leftists have often tried to kill off Islamic movements all over the Balkans, the Middle East, and North Africa. Marxists are no longer any where near Utopian enough to suit the fascist left and no where near conquest as opposed to control oriented enough to suit them either. Fascists and Marxists on the left are circling one another for a fight these days and the fascists will surely stay aligned with Islam if they win while Marxists could as easily back away from them as help them.
Marxists are plenty radical, but I think narrowing the focus helps. Just look up the article about the mayor of Boston, I think it was, posted here yesterday. The guy sounded like Goebbels did in 1934 going on about good corporations and businesses as opposed to evil ones.
JMHO, naturally, which is subject to change from time to time based on this and that. Democrat faithful in this country, though, seem to me to have been fascist since at least the late eighteen hundreds, so that’s a big factor in my thinking.

Being spared themselves seems to make a good many folks smug rather than causing them to weep over the lost. He works in mysterious ways yet it seems to me that many a prophecy interpretation frames up something straight forward and claims to have unraveled a mystery. The study of prophecy edifies, but prophecy as the lens for of our faith is a distraction.
His grace and mercy should be our lens, one we're anxious for others to share. When you say the main thing is allowing God to work and having faith, that is absolutely right because he is in charge.

Yep. I see it coming and am trying to figure out if there is enough time to stop it. I dunno. What do you think? I mean it is glaringly obvious yet only Beck and Savage are willing to talk about it.One cannot stop what The Most High has set into motion, nor should one even try. All things, this included, are a part of His design, and will come to pass. Our duty is to hold onto our faith, and pray that "Thy will be done, o Lord, on earth, even as it is in Heaven." Know that when these dark days have passed, the fullness of His plan will be complete, and all the misery will be undone...

Our duty is to hold onto our faith, and pray that "Thy will be done, o Lord, on earth, even as it is in Heaven." Know that when these dark days have passed, the fullness of His plan will be complete, and all the misery will be undone... Or, as the ten faithless spies said,
25And they returned from searching of the land after forty days. 26And they went and came to Moses, and to Aaron, and to all the congregation of the children of Israel, unto the wilderness of Paran, to Kadesh; and brought back word unto them, and unto all the congregation, and shewed them the fruit of the land. 27And they told him, and said, We came unto the land whither thou sentest us, and surely it floweth with milk and honey; and this is the fruit of it. 28Nevertheless the people be strong that dwell in the land, and the cities are walled, and very great: and moreover we saw the children of Anak there. 29The Amalekites dwell in the land of the south: and the Hittites, and the Jebusites, and the Amorites, dwell in the mountains: and the Canaanites dwell by the sea, and by the coast of Jordan. 30And Caleb stilled the people before Moses, and said, Let us go up at once, and possess it; for we are well able to overcome it. 31But the men that went up with him said, We be not able to go up against the people; for they are stronger than we. 32And they brought up an evil report of the land which they had searched unto the children of Israel, saying, The land, through which we have gone to search it, is a land that eateth up the inhabitants thereof; and all the people that we saw in it are men of a great stature. 33And there we saw the giants, the sons of Anak, which come of the giants: and we were in our own sight as grasshoppers, and so we were in their sight. 1And all the congregation lifted up their voice, and cried; and the people wept that night. 2And all the children of Israel murmured against Moses and against Aaron: and the whole congregation said unto them, Would God that we had died in the land of Egypt! or would God we had died in this wilderness! 3And wherefore hath the LORD brought us unto this land, to fall by the sword, that our wives and our children should be a prey? were it not better for us to return into Egypt? 4And they said one to another, Let us make a captain, and let us return into Egypt. 5Then Moses and Aaron fell on their faces before all the assembly of the congregation of the children of Israel. 6And Joshua the son of Nun, and Caleb the son of Jephunneh, which were of them that searched the land, rent their clothes: 7And they spake unto all the company of the children of Israel, saying, The land, which we passed through to search it, is an exceeding good land. 8If the LORD delight in us, then he will bring us into this land, and give it us; a land which floweth with milk and honey. 9Only rebel not ye against the LORD, neither fear ye the people of the land; for they are bread for us: their defence is departed from them, and the LORD is with us: fear them not. 10But all the congregation bade stone them with stones. And the glory of the LORD appeared in the tabernacle of the congregation before all the children of Israel. 11And the LORD said unto Moses, How long will this people provoke me? and how long will it be ere they believe me, for all the signs which I have shewed among them?
My generation grew up under the shadow of The Bomb, with the realistic expectation of "Atom Doom." Then, almost overnight, God took down the wall. Suddenly, the people just quit believing in the communist reason for living. And they wanted to hear about Jesus. Today, the largest evangelical church in Europe is a Pentecostal congregation in Kiev.
And the "prophecy experts," those who sought to use God's Word like a steaming heap of entrails, as a toy for predicting the future -- did NOT come to repentance, fall on their faces, and renounce their evil and occultic practices. No, they instead scurried around, like roaches when the light comes on, desperately seeking new antichrist candidates to grovel / cower before. New excuses for impotence, for fatalism, for the failure in their own lives.
21But as truly as I live, all the earth shall be filled with the glory of the LORD. 22Because all those men which have seen my glory, and my miracles, which I did in Egypt and in the wilderness, and have tempted me now these ten times, and have not hearkened to my voice; 23Surely they shall not see the land which I sware unto their fathers, neither shall any of them that provoked me see it: 24But my servant Caleb, because he had another spirit with him, and hath followed me fully, him will I bring into the land whereinto he went; and his seed shall possess it.
You can cower in your corner, playing with yourself, drooling over your pretty maps of imaginary futures. Others feel called to make a difference, and believe that the God who called them to serve Him is a God of victories, a God of power, a God of wisdom, a God who intends to bring all nations under the gentle yoke of the Christian gospel.
The decision to shrink back, to expect more of antichrist than of God, is not cost-free. Evangelical Christians in America are losing around 90% of their own children, in part because they have no hope to offer their offspring other than personal mystical experiences. A navel view can't substitute for a world view, no matter how much you feague it.
At this point, two major world systems spit proud defiance in God's face: Islam, and the state religion of the USA, a smug secularism. God has plans for both. Which will topple first? I passionately yearn to be in on what God is up to, in either case. If Islam is the next proud empire of defiance to fall, well, my Turkish lessons are coming along, so God may find a use for me among that presently-Muslim people group. If secular humanism is God's next idol for destruction, well, I have an application pending with an emergency management firm, and ten years' experience as a volunteer fireman.
Either way, Jesus is Lord, and He has significant things for me to do for His glory. I am excited to see what happens next! And pray I may be equal to the opportunities God has prepared for me.

The love of the truth of God is our foundation. Seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all things shall be added unto you. Our first love is the kingdom and righteousness of God which is the comforter, which is the spirit of truth.
The restoration of the kingdom of heaven on earth is revealed as we love God and repent of idol worship, which is the great lie, that we know how to run things better than God.

Valentine was a holy priest in Rome, who, with St. Marius and his family, assisted the martyrs in the persecution under Claudius II. He was apprehended, and sent by the emperor to the prefect of Rome, who, on finding all his promises to make him renounce his faith in effectual, commended him to be beaten with clubs, and afterwards, to be beheaded,

...but its not like its the end of the world...I appreciate the humor here, and in your tagline, but if we speak precisely instead of figuratively; if we stick to exact terms in place of common colloquialism; you are very right: it isn't "the end of the world"; it is the end of the age.
Earth will remain in orbit about jolly old Sol for the duration of the festivities, and beyond. Despite terrestrial disasters that may alter the face of things, there will remain air, land, sea, and a vast array of plant and animal life, along with the continuance of the human race. All will carry on under a dramatically altered context of existence, but all will continue to exist, nonetheless. Of course, the magnitude of the alteration will render it indiscernible from "the end of the world" for a great host of the human population, yet the fact remains that it will not be the literal, complete "end of the world."
So, the joke "It's not like it's the end of the world" becomes all the more humorous in that it brings to the fore the contrast between the actual truth, and the language of the popular lexicon.
