Emergency Prayer Request

An emergency prayer request for a member of our congregation: A young lady named Havanna has been rushed to the hospital with a ruptured appendix. Please lift her up in prayer for healing.

If one of my Jewish friends, whether traditional or Messianic, would be so kind as to post the benediction for healing from the Amidah for Havanna bat Sarah, I would greatly appreciate it.

Update: Havana is home and resting comfortably. She's still very sore, but the antibiotics seem to be doing the job. We seem to be past the danger point, but she still has a long recovery ahead of her. Thank you for your prayers and please continue to lift them up. I'll update here when a surgical date has been set or if there's any other change.

A few years back, my fifteen-year-old niece did not feel well at my daughter’s wedding, her mom ended up taking her to Urgent Care, and they missed the same thing, this was in 2006. My sister took her to the E.R., she was admitted, it had ruptured, and I am thankful to say, she made it. She was on anti-biotic therapy for a long time after that, her recovery was slow.

Abba Father in Heaven, I lift before you Havanna, praising You for Your love for her and Your provision in all things for her, thanking You that You are providing care and healing for her, that You are guiding the doctors, the nurses, and all those responsible for her care, and that You are strengthening her parents and all those who love her as they go through this with her. We ask You to bless her and all those involved in this situation, may they feel Your presence and know Your goodness. Amen
