I was bored and it bugs me that he accused me of lying and being dishonest (also against forum rules).
Now I’m off to get some real work done.
This is why I don’t hold one religion as being superior or more truthful over other religions. I think there are falsehoods in all of them, but it is not my place to tell anyone what to believe or not to believe.And about that cherry picking thing, most religions don’t reveal bible scripture that puts the ancestory of their faith in a bad light.You hear preachers all the time telling the story of Isaac and mother Sarah but very little about Ishmael and his mom. Or about Moses marrying his dads sister or Abraham pimping out his half sister wife to the Pharoah in return for cattle and land.
Sorry you think these are my motives. Nice effort to silence me though. But take heart. Some things seem to have changed around here in the past couple of days so perhaps you'll get me censored sooner rather than later. Speakin' from the heart dude as I'm sure you think you are. Might be hard for ya to believe. If that's the case I probably can't help ya.

I'm not telling anyone "what" to believe, I'm pointing out "what" is in error or is not truthful in a particular religion.

That is one of the most contradictory statement I have ever read. By telling them that their belief is wrong or untruthful you are in fact telling them not to bel;ieve it.

Why is that needed? The articles posted by non-mormons (so called ‘antis’ are from LDS sites, sources and authored by Mormons.
Are you claiming your own church’s writings are ‘anti’ themselves?

The Jesus of the BIBLE and Mormonism are mutually exclusive. The Christ of Mormonism is NOT the Christ of the Bible. I can give you a point by point on that Norm if you would like.
And please answer my question. Which do you want more the truth or Mormonism? Christ and Mormonism? Salvation or your religion?
If Jesus was leading you out of Mormonism, would you go? Or would you rather stay LDS regardless?
Who is more important to belong to? Christ or Mormon Church?
Would you follow Christ, would you seek the TRUTH, at ANY cost, even your Mormon religion?
Because I did. I didn’t want to leave Mormonism, I loved it and thought I was blessed by it, but I wanted the truth, I wanted Christ no matter the cost. And the cost was my Mormonism.

If I present conflicting information to something they purport to believe, I’m not “telling” anyone “what” to believe. I’m pointing out the contradiction. It’s entirely up to them whether or not they choose to pursue investigating it and altering their beliefs or not.
Just as I did when leaving mormonISM.
They can ignore it and go along their merry way [as many on FR do], rebut it [as some on FR do] or investigate it [as some on FR do] or just plain start a flame war by calling detractors of mormonISM “haters”, “pigs”, “liars”, “deceivers”, etc. [as some do].
There are many options available.
