This is why I don’t hold one religion as being superior or more truthful over other religions. I think there are falsehoods in all of them, but it is not my place to tell anyone what to believe or not to believe. And about that cherry picking thing, most religions don’t reveal bible scripture that puts the ancestory of their faith in a bad light. You hear preachers all the time telling the story of Isaac and mother Sarah but very little about Ishmael and his mom. Or about Moses marrying his dads sister or Abraham pimping out his half sister wife to the Pharoah in return for cattle and land.
And neither do I.
"I think there are falsehoods in all of them,..."
So what's the problem here if exposing a religion's faults and fallacies are supposedly a good thing?
"...but it is not my place to tell anyone what to believe or not to believe."
I'm not telling anyone "what" to believe, I'm pointing out "what" is in error or is not truthful in a particular religion.
