...he enters the hospital today for surgery tomorrow morning to remove a brain tumor. It was diagnosed a week ago, and while he's been able to be at home he is now suffering severe headaches and vertigo. Eric just turned 37, and has a beautiful wife and daughter. Please pray for them, for his medical team, for a successful surgery, and that the tumor is not malignant or genetic in nature. And whatever you're giving or getting this Christmas, give thanks for the gifts that can't be bought ~ your life and your health. Thanks!
Thank you for taking the time to update us. Preliminary exams say NOT malignant. Praying!!
So happy to hear the good news! :)
May it continue to be good. May God guide his recovery!
Prayers continue for a full and speedy recovery!
It is great to get at least some good news, and I will continue to remember him in my prayers.
Thank God. Thank you for updating us.
Praise the Lord. God bless Eric.

Peace in Christ...
Wonderful news about its likely being benigh. He will get thru (and not remember) the pain today. Not to make light of his pain, but when it’s gone, it’s gone and we can’t (or want to) recreate what it was like, only the memory that it existed. So long as Eric’s long-term prognosis is good, that is an amazing blessing. We will continue to pray that is the case.
Prayers continue.
Few years ago my niece went into surgery convinced that her brain tumor was cancer. Turned out that it was an auditory neuroma. Non malignant.
Miracles do happen.
Prayers for a speedy recovery.
We are praying for Eric and improving health. Your family is in our prayers.
Thank you for your continuing prayers! Eric has been moved out of ICU, is on a regular diet and is able to walk a bit with the aid of a walker. He is having normal post-surgical pain but it’s responding well to medication. The swelling is subsiding and a CT yesterday showed no fluid buildup. With your prayers, God’s help and the support of many loved ones it’s possible he could be home for Christmas! We are forever grateful to all of you. (I will post again when he’s discharged :)
