1 Timothy 2:5 ...one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.
There is NO debate here: God's Word clearly points out who the mediator is between God and men: i.e., Christ Jesus
If you believe in God's Word, who is Christ Jesus: The Word of God, then 1 Timothy 2:5 will be easily be understood as Christ the mediator.
Except for your last paragraph, you are agreeing with the content of Post #1, to which I also concur.

I have nothing against “Bible Truth” but I question the knowledge and the honesty of the “bibletruther.”
I learned long ago that Fundamentalist Protestants have little to teach me when it comes to the Bible and its interpretation.
God bless them!

People! Let them cast their curses all they want and at whomever they wish. Let them.
From todays Epistle of Mas of The Immaculate Conception (you guys do hold Proverbs is a legit book, don’t you?)
Proverbs 8:
[22] The Lord possessed me in the beginning of his ways, before he made any thing from the beginning. [23] I was set up from eternity, and of old before the earth was made. [24] The depths were not as yet, and I was already conceived. neither had the fountains of waters as yet sprung out: [25] The mountains with their huge bulk had not as yet been established: before the hills I was brought forth:
[26] He had not yet made the earth, nor the rivers, nor the poles of the world. [27] When he prepared the heavens, I was present: when with a certain law and compass he enclosed the depths: [28] When he established the sky above, and poised the fountains of waters: [29] When he compassed the sea with its bounds, and set a law to the waters that they should not pass their limits: when be balanced the foundations of the earth; [30] I was with him forming all things: and was delighted every day, playing before him at all times;
[31] Playing in the world: and my delights were to be with the children of men. [32] Now therefore, ye children, hear me: Blessed are they that keep my ways. [33] Hear instruction and be wise, and refuse it not. [34] Blessed is the man that heareth me, and that watcheth daily at my gates, and waiteth at the posts of my doors. [35] He that shall find me, shall find life, and shall have salvation from the Lord:
I came back from the holidays and the first thing I see in my mail is a link to this thread.
I am now glad that I had forgotten my power supply in another state and couldn’t log on over the holidays, because I was able to avoid having the celebration of our LORD’S BIRTH tainted by the incessant arguing over the above contained issues.
Can’t you people even set aside those differences during the season of Advent and celebration of Christmas? REALLY?
Don’t you have OTHER things to focus on? We argue with one another plenty during the rest of the year.
Whatever, I don’t care who you are or what your views on the topic of Mary may be. I want to wish you all a belated Merry Christmas and pray that God blesses you all. I’ll argue with you people later.
