1 Timothy 2:5 ...one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.
There is NO debate here: God's Word clearly points out who the mediator is between God and men: i.e., Christ Jesus
If you believe in God's Word, who is Christ Jesus: The Word of God, then 1 Timothy 2:5 will be easily be understood as Christ the mediator.
That very clear difference seems to escape Roman Catholics who offer their prayers to people who are no longer living in this world and who may or may not be in heaven.
Scripture tells us that God ALONE hears and answers our prayers.
Jesus Christ is the ONLY mediator between God and men.
Read your Bible and shake off the dust of RC superstition and idolatry.
That is blasphemy. Flee from it.
Am I supposed to be surprised that you’re a thoroughly trained Roman Catholic, and proud of it?
Three fourths of the Bible was recorded by the Hebrews before God was manifest in the flesh.
Peter is regarded as the foremost of the Lord’s apostles, yet, neither the RCs nor the Protestants obey his command in Acts 2:38. It’s baptism in the NAME of JESUS CHRIST for the REMISSION of SINS. His name is the only name given for salvation. Avoiding the use of it as Peter commanded is rebellion against God. That’s just the way it is.
And be baptized in the Name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
You cannot take part of the Bible and apply it. You must, if you are honest in your search, take it all.

Yes, that’s Jesus’ command found in Matt.28:19.
He was addressing his disciples. They KNEW who he was. And they KNEW that the NAME (singular) was one.
I’m a father, a son, and a husband, but that’s not my name.
Jesus made it clear that he INHERITTED his name, saying that he came in his “Father’s name, and ye receive me not: if another shall come in his OWN name, him ye shall receive” (John 5:43).
“...as he hath by INHERITANCE obtained a better name than they.” Heb. 1:4
Jesus Christ declared that the Holy Ghost would be sent in HIS name. John 14:26
The Christ taught disciples well, and they knew Him. They followed the (Matt.28:19) command, baptizing in the name of JESUS.
You see, the time came, and God brought all things together, “even in Christ”. He is the “fulness of the Godhead bodily”.
I can go on and on.....for example, Is. 9:6 “...unto us a son is given...his name shall be called....the Everlasting Father....
But I must take a shower per wife’s orders (she just wants the pc).
**I’d much rather believe the teachings of the One Holy Catholic and Apostolic Church established by Christ himself, than the teachings of some obscure, rebellious offshoot that popped up thousands of years after Christ’s Ascension.**

The original Church, that Peter was ordained to help lead, baptized in the name of Jesus for the remission of sins.

Hey, you seem like a nice person. Have a nice night. Really, I mean it.
At the Transfiguration was Jesus there with the corpses of Moses and Elijah?
One of the problems is the difference between popular-Roman Catholicism, or how doctrines are commonly understood or practiced, verses, what the official teaching is—and understood by more educated and sophisticated Roman Catholics.
For example, Rome NEVER officially taught that Purgatory was suffered to pay for guilt for sin, as Jesus did that on the cross, rather, Purgatory was to pay for the duty of penance not completed on earth.... BUT to the common medieval person, Purgatory was UNDERSTOOD to be a long hellish torment to pay for ones sins (before Heaven). So the question is what difference does it make—if most people misunderstand the subtleties of a doctrine, and the Church doesn’t correct that? (This is not to mention the fact that not the slightest notion of Purgatory is found in the bible).
Mary and the Saints are not officially understood to be mediators in the same way Jesus is—but how many Roman Catholics, even devout ones, know that, and practice that? If you always go to a person first, asking them to pray for you...without praying directly yourself—aren’t you IN PRACTICE making that person your mediator instead of Christ?
If it looks like a duck, walks like a duck, quacks like a duck, and smells like a duck, its a duck. Veneration may not technically be worship—but, in practice, it sure looks that way...
You don’t believe that Mary has eternal life?
If so, what chance do any of us have?
Again... if Mary doesn’t have eternal life via the promise contained in John 3:16, I don’t know what chance you and I have any theology that holds her to be deceased.
Please consider John 3:16... and consider that Mary might be a good bet for ‘eternal life.’
And you object to “street corner preaching” because...??
Be careful with that kind of terminology-—it sounds Pharisaic.
Who do you call 'Holy Father', God or your pope???

The Jesus lead spirit will tell the story, let the Holy Spirit convict and convince and demonstrate a loving life.
Heb 4:12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
While God does judge the thoughts and intents of the heart, Hebrews 4:12 is a salient verse in that is speaking of the written words of God, not the Word of God...Seems kinda strange I suppose...
The words in the book will judge you...Why??? Because you must believe the words in the book...The book is our means of God communicating to us...Note:
Heb 4:11 Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.
Unbelief in what??? Unbelief in what God tells us thru the scriptures...
The (written) word of God pierces our bodies and separates the soul and spirit from the joints and marrow...
The written words of God are alive...They are the voice of God...
It is our duty to proclaim these words of God to the world...
There are many spirits gone out into the world...Can we rely on the Holy Spirit alone to guide us??? How do we know it is the Holy Spirit guiding us??? God says to 'prove all things'...We must prove all things by the words of God, the scriptures...
The Catholic Church has repeatedly rejected the title of “Mediatrix” for the Blessed Virgin Mary and any saint.
Ya know, you guys tell us things like this all the time...I'm sure you are sincere and wouldn't intentionally lie to us but you guys seem to be so uninformed about your religion...
During his Angelus message last Sunday (March 21, 2010), Pope Benedict referred to Mary as the "Mediatrix of grace for every penitent sinner." This comes just days before the March 25 "Day of Dialogue on the Fifth Marian Dogma" to be held in the Vatican Forum not far from St. Peter's Basilica.
Ephesians 4:29 Let no evil talk come out of your mouths, but only such as is good for edifying, as fits the occasion, that it may impart grace to those who hear.
[Paul distributes divine grace, just as we believe Mary does, and teaches that others can do the same]
There is absolutely nothing in these verses or any others that you posted that even hint at someone giving grace other than Jesus Christ...
