We are in the Garden Of Gethsemane. These words in Hebrew are gan gat shemen, which means the garden of the olive oil press. The oil press means pressure. It is through pressure that the annointing oil of love is produced in our lives. Jesus spoke of the five wise virgins who had their lamps full of oil, so their light could shine. We are being called to accept the pressure of end times and let that pressure generate the oil we need to serve our Lord.
Jesus called Peter, James and John to join him and stay awake with him for one hour while Jesus met the pressure of that moment. Luke 22:39-46.
Jesus gave Peter, James and John three chances to stay awake with him through the pressure and thus produce the annointing oil with him, but they fell asleep. Jesus, met the pressure, sweat blood and had the victory. It would have been better had Peter, James and John stayed awake and shared the responsibility and opportunity with Jesus.
We who have eyes that see and ears to hear are being offered that same opportunnity to stay awake and serve with our Lord in the pressures of the end times that are at hand. Just one hour and that is not asking too much for a victory beyond compare. This is it, dear friends. Try as we might to ignore the signs, the pressure comes and the enemy is at hand outside the garden. We must choose whom we serve and stay awake. Denial is not an option.
The enemy or Antichrist spirit, represented by those through whom it dwells, comes to destroy those who have the oil of love and bear the light of truth. Watch, pray and shine that light that all may glorify our Lord and King. That is the Word made flesh through Jesus the Christ Spirit. We are called to stay awake and do likewise. We are in awesome times of radiant service. This is the camp of the saints. The enemy gathers from all over the earth to attack the camp and they will destroy themselves as we stay awake and serve our Lord in spirit and in truth.
Well, you’ll notice by my tag line (over a year old now) that we are at least thinking about the same stuff. I also notice you became a member at the same time I was shaking hands on my purchase of a small farm in central Kentucky (I’m still in urban Seattle, but expect to move there permanently in the next couple of months).
My biggest concern is that this is NOT the end but just another 1940’s thing. I suspect that it is the former, however. It’s interesting how we get used to “how it is” and forget how absurd our current state would have seemed just a couple of years ago. And it is clearly only getting worse.
It will be interesting if this spawns a revival.
Or not.

For thousands of years, folks have predicted predict “the end”....and they will for thousands more. I think it’s got to be that tiny bit of inherent narcisism that makes us human that will always drive us to assume OUR lifetimes are the most consequential, and the events occuring now before OUR eyes are unlike anything that’s ever happened before.
Y’all go on believing what you want. As for me, I’m gonna focus on my golf game this Friday, and voting for conservatives on Nov 2.

It will or will not happen no matter what I do so at this point I’m gonna try to help myself by voting.
Part of generating the oil is getting out and voting for those in the Spirit. However, if it is in man’s kingdom, then some kind of fix is in. Regardless of that, millions are waking up in Spirit and we support them..

The entire Book of Revelations is a sign of the times. The pressure will only increase and the wise generate the oil of love and shine the light of truth as if it is end times. Yes, come quickly Lord Jesus.

That's the important point.
'The terminal generation' shall see Israel 'born again' in a day. That happened against all odds in May 1948, because the USSR boycotted the UN Security Council meeting over the British Mandate and the Suez Canal.
That's what's unique and separates this 'terminal generation' from all the 70 previous ones.
Unlike every other date, time and era; we have never had an Israel 'resurrected' and in control of their ancient eternal capitol of Jerusalem.
This can't be compared to any other time.
We are told that knowledge shall increase at an incredible rate; today all forms of knowledge doubles every 1.5 years or less.
One hundred years ago, the fastest man was driving a motorcycle at 80 mph. Today, we've had men travel at 22,000 mph. All in a brief 100 year period of time.
So, I'm very sorry to report to you; this is the 'terminal generation' But certainly not because I live in it, but because Jesus Christ lives in it. He's getting ready to reappear; good luck explaining your golfing church philosophy to the Master. Maybe, Jesus has the perfect short game? Although when I play, I do need to make confession afterwards.

Last I heard, BO will be leaving to celebrate some Hindu festival in late October, or early November. Regardless, the national house is on fire and we've been promised 'hand to hand combat' by the president if we attempt to retake the Congress.
Do you honesty think that what's going on in this world's somehow independent from the eternal struggle between good vs. evil? Come on guys, how many of you honestly think Obama's not out of the same mold that gave us Adolph Hitler, Mao or Stalen?
