**If Satan Took Control of a City**

What do you mean “IF”

New York City has already succumbed to the devil.

That’s mean-spirited, divisive, bigoted and cruel.

If Satan took over a city... it would operate just as the vain religious system does today - the ways and means and traditions of men and good show of religious things, with the outward sign of religion, but the inward is corrupt with dead mens bones, i.e., the doctrines of the Catholic Church.

The motivation is pride. If you sincerely believe that doing these things makes you a superior person, then that is justification enough for doing them.

Satan doesn’t care how he gets you, claiming you to pride is more than enough for him.

This is why the real Christian knows in his heart that he is scum, and that these sinful desires lurk around the corner, and that he needs Christ because he cannot do it on his own.

“the doctrines of the Catholic Church.”

Let me guess. You don’t believe in organisational churches, because you yourself have got it right and they have it wrong.

I’m sure you pray in secret before God every night, which is why you are here telling us about it?

Christ is very clear. Christians are to be brothers and sisters to one another because we CANNOT do it ALONE!

So good luck with your ‘church’ of one.

You’d have Ithica, New York.

I had in mind PROVO.

All of the bars would be closed, pornography banished, and pristine streets would be filled with tidy pedestrians who smiled at each other. There would be no swearing. The children would say, "Yes, sir" and "No, ma'am," and churches would be full every Sunday...

The first challenge is for Christians to learn what The Gospel is so they can preach it! It's rather sad how many serious church attenders don't have a clue about preaching The Gospel.

AMEN!

"My people perish for lack of knowledge."
