Intended Catholic Dictatorship

Intended Catholic Dictatorship

The ultimate intention of Catholicism is the restoration of the Holy Roman Empire. That has always been the ambition, at least covertly, but now it is being promoted overtly and openly.

The purpose of this article is only to make that intention clear. It is not a criticism of Catholics or Catholicism (unless you happen to think a Catholic dictatorship is not a good thing).

The most important point is to understand that when a Catholic talks about liberty or freedom, it is not individual liberty that is meant, not the freedom to live one's life as a responsible individual with the freedom to believe as one chooses, not the freedom to pursue happiness, not the freedom to produce and keep what one has produced as their property. What Catholicism means by freedom, is freedom to be a Catholic, in obedience to the dictates of Rome.

The Intentions Made Plain

The following is from the book Revolution and Counter-Revolution:

"B. Catholic Culture and Civilization

"Therefore, the ideal of the Counter-Revolution is to restore and promote Catholic culture and civilization. This theme would not be sufficiently enunciated if it did not contain a definition of what we understand by Catholic culture and Catholic civilization. We realize that the terms civilization and culture are used in many different senses. Obviously, it is not our intention here to take a position on a question of terminology. We limit ourselves to using these words as relatively precise labels to indicate certain realities. We are more concerned with providing a sound idea of these realities than with debating terminology.

"A soul in the state of grace possesses all virtues to a greater or lesser degree. Illuminated by faith, it has the elements to form the only true vision of the universe.

"The fundamental element of Catholic culture is the vision of the universe elaborated according to the doctrine of the Church. This culture includes not only the learning, that is, the possession of the information needed for such an elaboration, but also the analysis and coordination of this information according to Catholic doctrine. This culture is not restricted to the theological, philosophical, or scientific field, but encompasses the breadth of human knowledge; it is reflected in the arts and implies the affirmation of values that permeate all aspects of life.

"Catholic civilization is the structuring of all human relations, of all human institutions, and of the State itself according to the doctrine of the Church.

Got that? "Catholic civilization is the structuring of all human relations, of all human institutions, and of the State itself according to the doctrine of the Church." The other name for this is called "totalitarianism," the complete rule of every aspect of life.

This book and WEB sites like that where it is found are spreading like wildfire. These people do not believe the hope of America is the restoration of the liberties the founders sought to guarantee, these people believe the only hope for America is Fatima. Really!

In Their Own Words

The following is from the site, "RealCatholicTV." It is a plain call for a "benevolent dictatorship, a Catholic monarch;" their own words. They even suggest that when the "Lord's Payer," is recited, it is just such a Catholic dictatorship that is being prayed for.

Two Comments

First, in this country, freedom of speech means that anyone may express any view no matter how much anyone else disagrees with that view, or is offended by it. I totally defend that meaning of freedom of speech.

This is what Catholics believe, and quite frankly, I do not see how any consistent Catholic could disagree with it, though I suspect some may. I have no objection to their promoting those views, because it is what they believe. Quite frankly I am delighted they are expressing them openly. For one thing, it makes it much easier to understand Catholic dialog, and what they mean by the words they use.

Secondly, I think if their views were actually implemented, it would mean the end true freedom, of course, but I do not believe there is any such danger.

And very often the catechisms themselves are diabolical. The catholic Catechism .

This is true ...

Not that it matters, as this is just trivia at its worst—but I have never mentioned my age on this forum. My age is my business. I have only mentioned the age of my oldest child.

What an amusing statement. I posted the small excerpt from the Nicene Creed which deals with Mary. If the OPC adherents cannot deal with Mary, so be it.

Pay attention to what the Nicene creed does not say about Mary.. that she was EVER virgin, that she was "immaculately conceived" and never sinned, or that she plays any role in redemption

What it does say of Mary is
For us and for our salvation he came down from heaven: by the power of the Holy Spirit he became incarnate from the Virgin Mary, and was made man.

Which all professing Christians say Amen to..

My current pastor is an ex Baptist preacher (Army chaplain). I have had an ex Presbyterian priest and some from other religions who converted as well. The fruit is ripening and the reunification of Christianity is gaining momentum.

How funny I have had several ex Catholic pastors.. LOL..most of the fruit that falls from the catholic tree lands in my church ...

There will never be "unity" with the elect and the catholic church, only other un-regenerates will join Rome. The saved will never come, they resisted the inquisition, being on hit lists and being burned at the stake ..

Jhn 10:25 Jesus answered them, I told you, and ye believed not: the works that I do in my Father's name, they bear witness of me.
Jhn 10:26 But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep, as I said unto you.
Jhn 10:27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:
Jhn 10:28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any [man] pluck them out of my hand.
Jhn 10:29 My Father, which gave [them] me, is greater than all; and no [man] is able to pluck [them] out of my Father's hand.

When I follow the Lord's will, I'm find. When I follow my will I fail, but the Lord will guide me back to the right path. There is no "free will". There is only the Lord's will and my will

Sounds to me like you are following only your will in either case and then decide "whose" will you were following based on the outcome.

And how will the Lord guide you back to the right path? Will he force you against your will, and if so, whey does he let you stray to begin with?

Replying to a previous post, to the author, with excerpts in quotation marks or italics is normally considered quotation in the usual FR protocol. Odd. I had considered you to above cheap shots and misleading posts and to be one of more Christian amongst your chosen group.

I'm not into bean counting my "good works" because I have none. My will is corrupt. I cannot choose the things of God and nothing I do will please God. I rest upon the Lord Jesus Christ's promise that if we abide in Him we will produce fruit.

What my fruit is I don't know except that fruit is a promise of God. Any "good works" that I might perform for God is hidden and will be reveal at the judgment of the believers. But, then again, my good works won't matter. They were all done by Christ through me. At the risk of sounding a bit falsely humbled, it is logically fitting that I cast these works down at the feet of Christ because they are, in actuality, His works. I have nothing and I give nothing. They belong to Him however wonderful or meek they are.

I don't need to be worry about outcome.

And how will the Lord guide you back to the right path?

God has promised it to me and every believer. "He leads me in the paths of righteousness for His name sake." Like Jonah, I may/will stray. But I rest in the promise that God will lead me back into the paths of righteousness. Not because of me but because of His righteousness.

If you do not believe in scripture, it is difficult to rest in the promises of God.

Please pay attention to the thread. The good Dr. E. had some problems with the Incarnation of Jesus. If you wish to go further into the role of Mary, Mother of God, we can.

John 12:20 11 Now there were some Greeks 12 among those who had come up to worship at the feast. 21 13 They came to Philip, who was from Bethsaida in Galilee, and asked him, "Sir, we would like to see Jesus." 22 Philip went and told Andrew; then Andrew and Philip went and told Jesus. 23 14 Jesus answered them, "The hour has come for the Son of Man to be glorified. 24 15 Amen, amen, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains just a grain of wheat; but if it dies, it produces much fruit. 25 Whoever loves his life 16 loses it, and whoever hates his life in this world will preserve it for eternal life. 26 Whoever serves me must follow me, and where I am, there also will my servant be. The Father will honor whoever serves me. 27 "I am troubled 17 now. Yet what should I say? 'Father, save me from this hour'? But it was for this purpose that I came to this hour. 28 Father, glorify your name." Then a voice came from heaven, "I have glorified it and will glorify it again."

29 The crowd there heard it and said it was thunder; but others said, "An angel has spoken to him." 30 Jesus answered and said, "This voice did not come for my sake but for yours. 31 Now is the time of judgment on this world; now the ruler of this world 18 will be driven out. 32 And when I am lifted up from the earth, I will draw everyone to myself."

You guys give me Paul and Isaiah. I give you Jesus. Neither Paul nor Isaiah will Judge you, neither will they save you. Jesus can and if you permit Him, He will. Give up your hate and your contempt. Where is your imitation of Christ? Have you set it aside when you post?

WOULD YOU OR ANY OF THE OTHER RC'S ON THIS THREAD KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT THIS RENAISSANCE PAINTING?

IF SO, please let me know what you know, on this thread, here--not trying to intrude such a discussion on this thread.

The painting is The Baptism of Christ by Aert de Gelder, a pupil of Rembrandt. He was considered one of the most talented of Rembrandt’s pupils. The painting was done in 1710.

Although many today believe it is evidence of UFOs close scrutiny of the original painting shows that the bright oval in the sky is really a dove surrounded by a large halo.

I’m sorry; I don’t know about this particular painting - it does not ring a bell and I’m not sure where to search. Hopefully somebody else will.

Thanks for your post:

When I follow the Lord's will, I'm fine. When I follow my will I fail, but the Lord will guide me back to the right path.

I swear, Harley, when I discuss free will with you, I feel like I'm watching a man walking around claiming he is lame.

I’ll see if I can enlarge it to find the dove.

Enlarging that version doesn’t reveal the dove.

Maybe we can find another version on the net.

Perhaps JoeProBono can help find the dove.

"I’ll see if I can enlarge it to find the dove."

I remember studying this painting because it really dealt with a number of contradictions. It sought to deal with the adding importance to a small distant object without violating perspective. The adding of the large, illuminated halo satisfied all of the problems presented.

I think I've found the best there will be...

The Fitzwilliam Museum Click to zoom should reveal the dove at the center of the halo.
