Intended Catholic Dictatorship

Intended Catholic Dictatorship

The ultimate intention of Catholicism is the restoration of the Holy Roman Empire. That has always been the ambition, at least covertly, but now it is being promoted overtly and openly.

The purpose of this article is only to make that intention clear. It is not a criticism of Catholics or Catholicism (unless you happen to think a Catholic dictatorship is not a good thing).

The most important point is to understand that when a Catholic talks about liberty or freedom, it is not individual liberty that is meant, not the freedom to live one's life as a responsible individual with the freedom to believe as one chooses, not the freedom to pursue happiness, not the freedom to produce and keep what one has produced as their property. What Catholicism means by freedom, is freedom to be a Catholic, in obedience to the dictates of Rome.

The Intentions Made Plain

The following is from the book Revolution and Counter-Revolution:

"B. Catholic Culture and Civilization

"Therefore, the ideal of the Counter-Revolution is to restore and promote Catholic culture and civilization. This theme would not be sufficiently enunciated if it did not contain a definition of what we understand by Catholic culture and Catholic civilization. We realize that the terms civilization and culture are used in many different senses. Obviously, it is not our intention here to take a position on a question of terminology. We limit ourselves to using these words as relatively precise labels to indicate certain realities. We are more concerned with providing a sound idea of these realities than with debating terminology.

"A soul in the state of grace possesses all virtues to a greater or lesser degree. Illuminated by faith, it has the elements to form the only true vision of the universe.

"The fundamental element of Catholic culture is the vision of the universe elaborated according to the doctrine of the Church. This culture includes not only the learning, that is, the possession of the information needed for such an elaboration, but also the analysis and coordination of this information according to Catholic doctrine. This culture is not restricted to the theological, philosophical, or scientific field, but encompasses the breadth of human knowledge; it is reflected in the arts and implies the affirmation of values that permeate all aspects of life.

"Catholic civilization is the structuring of all human relations, of all human institutions, and of the State itself according to the doctrine of the Church.

Got that? "Catholic civilization is the structuring of all human relations, of all human institutions, and of the State itself according to the doctrine of the Church." The other name for this is called "totalitarianism," the complete rule of every aspect of life.

This book and WEB sites like that where it is found are spreading like wildfire. These people do not believe the hope of America is the restoration of the liberties the founders sought to guarantee, these people believe the only hope for America is Fatima. Really!

In Their Own Words

The following is from the site, "RealCatholicTV." It is a plain call for a "benevolent dictatorship, a Catholic monarch;" their own words. They even suggest that when the "Lord's Payer," is recited, it is just such a Catholic dictatorship that is being prayed for.

Two Comments

First, in this country, freedom of speech means that anyone may express any view no matter how much anyone else disagrees with that view, or is offended by it. I totally defend that meaning of freedom of speech.

This is what Catholics believe, and quite frankly, I do not see how any consistent Catholic could disagree with it, though I suspect some may. I have no objection to their promoting those views, because it is what they believe. Quite frankly I am delighted they are expressing them openly. For one thing, it makes it much easier to understand Catholic dialog, and what they mean by the words they use.

Secondly, I think if their views were actually implemented, it would mean the end true freedom, of course, but I do not believe there is any such danger.

I go sing the Te Deum.

Do you know of a good recording of that on CD?

Catholics set the Jews on fire, in the American civil war

You know... if it weren't for that comma you'd have a wild premise for an alternate history novel, or a public school education.

We didn't always know this, but we do know this now after reading her many letters. She did not pray. She doubted the existence of God and the divinity of Jesus Christ.

WOW! I didn't know this. Not surprising since the RCC lifts up Mary and their cult teachings are the final authority.

'May God's Word be True and everyman a liar'.

You must know you are dealing with a gaggle of ignorant non- Christians. Well, as the only Unitarian here, and since Unitarians deny the Trinity, you really don't have anything in common with metmom. Why would you deny the Trinity and the divinity of Christ and then jump on a thread debating the details of Christianity?

Another endorsement of that unscriptural nonsense I see.

Since virtually nothing about Mary that was printed in that book is to be found in Scripture, we can only conclude that it is based on the RCC tradition which the Catholic church holds to be of equal standing with Scripture.

Since the book has the nihil obstat and imprimatur, which means that it contains nothing contrary to faith or morals, the only logical conclusion to be made is that that book is an accurate reflection of the teachings by Tradition of the Roman Catholic church.

Now, considering that it teaches things that are either not found in Scripture, or are in direct contradiction to the clear teachings of Scripture, I’d say the Catholic church has a problem on it’s hands.

Does it endorse a book full of lies and false teachings and idolatry? Or does it renounce the book and go back to the clear teachings of the Bible that it claims to have written?

Judging by the Imprimatur, I’d say the decision have been made.

Do you know of a good recording of that on CD?

I have several. Orchestral and chanted. Amazon or the itunes music store allow 30 second previews, so they are good places to search. I prefer Haydn's and my wife prefers Mozart's. Not so much Rutter or Arvo Part. There are some good chanted versions on youtube, also orchestral for that matter.

Your brand of Christianity is full of hell, damnation, fire and brimstone. Salvation is to be pursued severely as a means to avoid punishment. Catholicism is full of love and Beatitude as Christ instructed.

That's Catholicism you're describing, you know. Like the whole Purgatory thing. And works and if you sin between the time you take communion to the time of the next confession, well, sucks to be you.

The Catholic God is one of judgment and condemnation. Jesus is even referred to being our judge in a prayer to Mary.

Catholics on this forum have stated that they will not know until they die whether they have made it or not.

Prayer to Our Lady of Perpetual Help

O Mother of Perpetual Help, thou art the dispenser of every grace that God grants us in our misery; it is for this cause that He hath made thee so powerful, so rich, so kind, that thou mightest assist us in our miseries. Thou art the advocate of the most wretched and abandoned sinners, if they but come unto thee; come once more to my assistance, for I commend myself to thee. In thy hands I place my eternal salvation; to thee I entrust my soul. Enroll me among thy most faithful servants; take me under thy protection and it is enough for me: yes, for if thou protect me, I shall fear nothing; not my sins, for thou wilt obtain for me their pardon and remission; not the evil spirits, for thou art mightier than all the powers of hell; not even Jesus, my Judge, for He is appeased by a single prayer from thee. I fear only that through my own negligence I may forget to recommend myself to thee and so I shall be lost. My dear Lady, obtain for me the forgiveness of my sins, love for Jesus, final perseverance and the grace to have recourse to thee at all times, O Mother of Perpetual Help.

Bad theology. Jesus is our Savior, not our Judge. Our sins have already been judged by his death on the cross.

I worked with a Swiss man named Alain Chapuis. Much of what I learned of the real history of Calvinism I learned from him. He and his family hold a deep resentment and hatred for all things Calvin.

And you knew an eyewitness to the Baptism of John Wayne.

I don't believe you.

Along with St. Louis de Montfort I can say: With the whole Church I acknowledge that Mary, being a mere creature fashioned by the hands of God is, compared to his infinite majesty, less than an atom, or rather is simply nothing, since he alone can say, "I am he who is". Consequently, this great Lord, who is ever independent and self-sufficient, never had and does not now have any absolute need of the Blessed Virgin for the accomplishment of his will and the manifestation of his glory. To do all things he has only to will them.

He stated the standard disclaimer and then proceded down the bunny hole. What else is new?

Seriously, I believe you are a reasonable person and is not only willing, but insists on using your God given mind.

You are a credit to Catholicism.

So what are you claiming that Catholics never set the Jews on fire? You might want to read up on the history of the Jews in Spain.

From Eats, Shoots & Leaves

A panda walks into a café. He orders a sandwich, eats it, then draws a gun and proceeds to fire it at the other patrons.

'Why?' asks the confused, surviving waiter amidst the carnage, as the panda makes towards the exit. The panda produces a badly punctuated wildlife manual and tosses it over his shoulder.

'Well, I'm a panda,' he says, at the door. 'Look it up.'

The waiter turns to the relevant entry in the manual and, sure enough, finds an explanation. 'Panda. Large black-and-white bear-like mammal, native to China. Eats, shoots and leaves.'

Jesus is our Savior, not our Judge.

So you don't accept the Nicene Creed, the Apostles' Creed or the Athanasian Creed? Just asking where you stand.

Speaking of the papist seal of approval, check out this site...

TREATISE ON THE TRUE DEVOTION TO THE BLESSED VIRGIN

"We call Mary the Mediatrix of All Graces...His design has included Mary as His helpmate...He has incorporated her in His redemptive mission from beginning to end...

She fulfils faithfully the office which He has committed to her. Subject to Him she is also most perfectly united to Him. She is fully Mother; everything connected with the children of God is placed under her influence.

She administers the divine life to them, and by her incessant maternal care she causes them to grow up in Christ. Her hand is on every item of Christian life, each grace, prayer, duty.

That is her function...

Lies. Despicable, grace-denying, Holy Spirit-nullifying lies.

Lots more where that came from.

Pity.

I accept Jesus' own words on the matter...

John 12:44-50 44Then Jesus cried out, "When a man believes in me, he does not believe in me only, but in the one who sent me. 45When he looks at me, he sees the one who sent me. 46I have come into the world as a light, so that no one who believes in me should stay in darkness.

47"As for the person who hears my words but does not keep them, I do not judge him. For I did not come to judge the world, but to save it. 48There is a judge for the one who rejects me and does not accept my words; that very word which I spoke will condemn him at the last day. 49For I did not speak of my own accord, but the Father who sent me commanded me what to say and how to say it. 50I know that his command leads to eternal life. So whatever I say is just what the Father has told me to say."

This may sound off base but dang it some of these writings make one think the attraction to Mary went beyond religious...and filled some other need in the life of these people....whatever it is it is not only worship but more as obsession.. and that is an understatement. Furthermore how some can even imagine that God accepts this as it clearly dethrones Christ. Just appauling in my book.

Metmoms correct Christ is our Saviour...Gods judgement of our sins was laid on Him.....Jesus (God) said it is finished. Our sin was paid in full....then He arose so that we would have eternal life with Him. No more death! Rather eternal life! What love is that???? Beyond measure.....
