MetMom Serious Prayer Need--EATING threatened [Update @560]

Metmom has had allergies and food allergies her entire life. In the last few years they have gotten steadily and progressively worse. Foods have been dropping out of her diet until she reached the point she is at now and can only eat rice, chicken, lamb, and venison. Anything else causes her to react rather destructively, debilitatingly.

The problem is that the repeated continual exposure to the few remaining foods, could lead to a sensitivity to those as well, which has just happened to two foods she had been safely eating since October.

There are options for nutrition should she start to react to all foods, but they are used only in the most dire situations. She's concerned about reaching that point--and frankly has been feeling more than a little discouraged by all such.

She has undergone extensive medical testing which has all been inconclusive. Almost everything comes back normal or negative, and the few things that she does test positive for aren’t what causes her the most problems.

She is attempting to get into a regional medical center for more specialized medical evaluation to see if they can determine the cause and possible treatment, if any exists.

She has been prayed for and anointed numerous times over the years, however, she would appreciated continued prayer for complete healing.

PLEASE UNDERSTAND HER PLIGHT with as much empathy as you can. She's been through a 1,001 suggestions and tried a LOT of different things. She's been through the Henry Wright seminar and prayers extensively. I don't think she is quite up to handling any more suggestions currently. Those who've been through such can understand such a feeling. She just greatly would appreciate your understanding and PARTICULARLY YOUR CARING PRAYERS.

This summary is per my understanding and might be stated somewhat differently were she writing it herself. I believe she'd affirm the truth of what I've said but these are essentially my words.

Done most of that a long time ago, but thank you for thinking of it. Many people don’t realize what and how much can be absorbed through the skin.

That is actually the way I get my Benadryl. There’s something in most of the OTC forms of it that bothers me, so I’ve taken to using the liquid gel that’s supposed to help with poison ivy. I don’t react to it, which helps keep me from feeling worse, and it does help. I can tell by how broken out I am.

Yes, I definitely understand. Hope she can get some answers soon. I haven’t had experience with any mystery ailment personally, but I know through family members how frustrating it can be to never find an answer to what is ailing you. There’s a good show on Discovery Health called Mystery Diagnosis. It’s amazing what agony/misery people can go through for years before getting an answer.

Hi Metmom - I will pray for you continually. I too have food allergies and outside on skin. I take shots too. Less of them. It was twice a week to now once a month. You might of heard everything. It took years to get to a level were I could do regular work comfortably.

So I somewhat understand. I did rotation diet and many other avenues. It took me a dozen doctors to get to the one I have now. If you have been with one too long with no improvement I hate to say Its time to check for a new one. I am only going by my experience. This may not be the case with you. But I was really sick before this one. This doctor I have now has caused so much improvement. 15 years with him. Changed my life. It was terrible. I hope this helps. I know everybody has a strong opinion. You try to be nice and they still do not understand. So above all I will pray. May He bless You! Praise Jesus!

on anti-biotics a couple years ago ight it constantly. The least little increase in carbs or sugar and I’m done.

PROBIOTICS - always should be taken when taking antibiotics. As we know, antibiotics kills all bacteria - bad or good - and the good bacteria needs to be replaced.

I learned the hard way. There are many kinds out there; but, back then I got the refrigerated probiotic. In your case, I'd go for the strongest and the purest.

Sorry about sending a suggestion - but this one I KNOW about needed to say it. Not one MD every told me about it - one did say, 'sure, eat some yogurt'. Not good enough when you get to this stage. My was fine powder - put the suggested dosage in some water and drank it.

Metmom, you WILL get through this!

Taro is also called "elephant ear" and is easy to grow. It likes to grow in swampy water.

There's also jerusalem artichoke which is a sunflower root that grows prolifically in the north and it's not as starchy as potatoes. It can be eaten raw or boiled. Once you plant it you'll always have it.

There's yucca root which you can bake like potatoes.

Papaya is an excellent aide to digestion as it contains enzymes which will digest food for you- I use it on baby birds with slow crops to move the food along before it sours the crop.

My son is seriously allergic to: wheat, eggs, milk, soy, corn, peanuts, walnuts besides many environmental allergies.

By the grace of God we found out about ALPHA ENF, wow what a breakthrough. Not tasty, but it is good nutrition without the drastic effects the allergies carry.

Sorry, if I am not observing your request. Some one dared to help us a few years ago and I would be negligent if I would not offer the same to another.

I will pray for your healing. Something obviously is askew in your body and there is no doubt help but what????? of course you have been diligent in your research. Will pray maybe some freeper might have some additional information that will help you.

Here locally the natural healers put a lot of stock in thyroid & other gland functions & appropriate natural supplements to counter. The Naturopathic Physician do the best work here and the chinese healers are few & far between but they are amazing.
