I am asking for prayers for two acquaintances who have been diagnosed with cancer.
Isabelle was successfully treated a few years ago for esophageal cancer, but her cancer has returned. The doctor, however, says that they have caught it early.
Shirley has been diagnosed with early stage bladder cancer.
Please keep these women and their families in your prayers.
St. Peregrine, pray for them.
Your friends will be in my prayers.
Will do... about three weeks ago my wife was diagnosed with Adrenacortical Carcinoma (Cancer of the adrenal gland). They removed it on Tuesday morning. It was 8 times larger than what normally gets the doctors worried, yet they cannot seem to classify it. It, as they say is “acting benignly”. The surgeon said the pathologists are just scratching their heads because they don’t know why it isn’t spreading. We do. God is good... we’ll pray for your friends. Please pray for my wife as well.
Praying in agreement
Prayers for the two ladies to be successfully treated.
Will remember these! And please add another brave lady to your list who will remain unnamed here, but whose name and needs are known to God, as she battles cancer and financial issues after a career devoted to helping others.
Praying for Isabelle and Shirley. God bless them and their caregivers.
Dear Lord please see their pain and heal them with your love.
Oh my Lord your work wonders and we thank you.

May the Lord provide healing for Isabelle and Shirley.
Praying for them both, may God heal them.
At the cross her station keeping,
stood the mournful mother weeping,
close to Jesus at the last,
Through her soul, of joy bereavèd,
bowed with anguish, deeply grievèd,
now at length the sword hath passed.
O, that blessed one, grief-laden,
blessed Mother, blessed Maiden,
Mother of the all-holy One;
O that silent, ceaseless mourning,
O those dim eyes, never turning
from that wondrous, suffering Son.
Who, on Christs dear mother gazing,
in her trouble so amazing,
born of woman, would not weep?
Who, on Christs dear Mother thinking,
such a cup of sorrow drinking,
would not share her sorrows deep?
For his peoples sins, in anguish,
there she saw the victim languish,
bleed in torments, bleed and die.
Saw the Lords anointed taken,
saw her Child in death forrsaken,
heard his last expiring cry.
In the passion of my Maker,
be my sinful soul partaker,
may I bear with her my part;
of his passion bear the token,
in a spirit bowed and broken
bear his death within my heart.
May his wounds both wound and heal me,
he enkindle, cleanse, and heal me,
be his cross my hope and stay.
May he, when the mountains quiver,
from that flame which burns for ever
shield me on the judgment day.
Jesus, may thy cross defend me,
and thy saving death befriend me,
cherished by thy deathless grace:
when to dust my dust returneth,
grant a soul that to thee yearneth
in thy paradise a place.
