Well as long as it is more money for the city, who cares about rights. See Keller.

The non-Constitutional concept of “Separation of Church and State” now means that government has an obligation to remove all evidence of the Christian faith from the public sphere.

But...the Constitution. Freedom of assembly. First Ammendment...it’s mind boggling what is going on in this country.
This article should have some names attached to it. Who are the city council members that brought this forth? Who sponsored it? Names are purposely left out, imo. It’s time people went on the attack against these local tyrannies.

The city could raise more money by feeding the Christians to the lions and charging for tickets if money is the overriding concern here.

This is one side of the story. Let’s not jump through our butts before we hear the other side.

We were involved in the starting of a church Tiki Island Chapel in a community on Galveston Bay. We started meeting in the garage of our next door neighbors house. We were sued and forced to stop by a neighbor, for reasons I never understood. The legal reason he used was subdivision restrictions on anything other than a residence. We didn't plan on meeting there forever but only until we had enough money to build a church building.
We moved to the city court room, which was OK but losing in court felt bad. Sometime later the doctor who forced the court action, committed suicide, the reason for that I never found out either.

That’s out of the blue. There are churches throughout San Antonio, and many are near retailers, especially since the city went crazy building strip malls.

Well it would be different if it were homosexual parade in the middle of the week. Then it would be ok to close off streets, stop all access to business/commerce in order that depravity can be displayed. Revenue/taxes wouldn’t matter then /s
