She and her hubby of 40+ years were very close and loving. I used to see them walking into Sunday service holding hands and thought how sweet that was after all these years together. They had no children, so she was everything in the world to him. He has really taken it hard.

There is no such thing as a routine surgical procedure, thing can go wrong. Even the 2 Drs that operated were crying rivers of tears. No fault of theirs, it could not have been forseen that her heart would not restart.

Dear Father, Please be with this grieving Family, espeicially Betty’s Husband. Comfort his aching heart with Your Word, and give him a constant awareness of your Presence. In Jesus Name. Amen

Surely You have borne our griefs and carried our sorrows. We commit Betty’s family to You for Your tender mercies, asking You to send ministers of Your peace and comfort to them. Be with this dear husband who has lost his soul-mate, and help him to know that he will see her again. Father, You are able to turn the darkness of the hour into light. Blessed is Your Holy Name. Truly, Betty is in the presence of her precious Jesus, rejoicing even as her loved ones mourn their loss of her physical presence. May the comfort of the Holy Spirit surround her beloved husband and church family, for parting brings anguished sorrow, but Praise His Holy Name, joyous reunion awaits.
