Allas .... Christianity has come full circle! Once the victims of the Catholic Inquisition ... the Protestants ARE now the Inquistors!

Thank goodness for God’s grace in establishing the rule of law or you Protestants would still be killing us Mormons like you great-grandfathers did!

... Hey people, Look at your own religion with a fraction of the intensity that you look at ours!!!

All of the Catholic Creeds which the Protestants use to define thier Godhead (instead of using the bible) are an abomination to God. You reject other Catholic teachings ... why hold onto the Nicean, Apostolic and Athenasian Creeds? Why not follow the Bible?

As God Said, you can’t put new wine into old bottles ... or else the old bottles will corrupt the new wine!

God had to bypass Modern Protenstatism in order to restore his gospel to the earth in preparation for the second coming.

Those who claim Christ, should be reintroduced to His Father who Christ maintianed the glory should go to!

As Christ demonstrated and taught time and time again, look to God the Father of all, to whom Christ gave all the glory and

I have looked at my own religion with MORE intensity than I looked at the LDS when I converted. My Christian faith withstands scruitny, the LDS did/does not. The problems of Mormonism was a very hard realization to deal with, but Thank God I had several Christian friends (including Catholics) that helped me work through “losing my religion” and coming to a faith in Christ alone to save me.

My theology is based upon the Bible, not fictional 19th century works and an Egyptian funeral papyrus.

There was NEVER an apostasy, thus no need for a “restoration”. Christ said the “gates of hell” would not prevail against His church. So if there was an apostasy, that would make Jesus a liar. And if He was a liar, then He could not be Savior.

Contrary to your statement, the creeds (which are a foundation of Catholic/Protestant belief) are NOT an abomination and DO have biblical basis. The creeds were developed as a unifying statement of faith against many of the same gnostic heresies that Joseph Smith revived.

The LDS have no room to claim that creeds are an abomination since they have their own in their Articles of Faith.

And, while we are on the subject, exactly WHAT part of the following (Apostles creed)is an abomination to God??? Hmmm??? Please be specific.

I believe in God, the Father Almighty,
the Maker of heaven and earth,
and in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord:

Who was conceived by the Holy Ghost,
born of the virgin Mary,
suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, dead, and buried;

He descended unto the dead.

The third day He arose again from the dead;

He ascended into heaven,
and sitteth on the right hand of God the Father Almighty;
from thence he shall come to judge the quick and the dead.

I believe in the Holy Ghost;
the holy catholic church;
the communion of saints;
the forgiveness of sins;
the resurrection of the body;
and the life everlasting.

I know how you feel!

  17 It no sooner appeared than I found myself delivered from the enemy which held me bound. When the light rested upon me I saw two Personages, whose brightness and glory defy all description, standing above me in the air. One of them spake unto me, calling me by name and said, pointing to the other—This is My Beloved Son. Hear Him!
  18 My object in going to inquire of the Lord was to know which of all the sects was right, that I might know which to join. No sooner, therefore, did I get possession of myself, so as to be able to speak, than I asked the Personages who stood above me in the light, which of all the sects was right (for at this time it had never entered into my heart that all were wrong)—and which I should join.
  19 I was answered that I must join none of them, for they were all wrong; and the Personage who addressed me said that all their creeds were an abomination in his sight; that those professors were all corrupt; that: “they draw near to me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me, they teach for doctrines the commandments of men, having a form of godliness, but they deny the power thereof.”
  20 He again forbade me to join with any of them; and many other things did he say unto me, which I cannot write at this time. When I came to myself again, I found myself lying on my back, looking up into heaven. When the light had departed, I had no strength; but soon recovering in some degree, I went home. And as I leaned up to the fireplace, mother inquired what the matter was. I replied, “Never mind, all is well—I am well enough off.” I then said to my mother,
“I have learned for myself that Presbyterianism is not true.”

Indeed. Why don't the Protestants do that?
