Jesus was born a homeless child

I took my mom to church last night (Roman Catholic) and was amazed that the last song the choir sang before mass was "Jesus was born a homeless child". Is this now considered a Christmas song?

Apparently the new priest at my Mom's church is a liberal woo-woo christian. She's not happy about it, but it is the closet parish to her house and it is the one she belongs to. I can't believe that something this wrong can be sung in church, considering that it was the government at the time that forced Joseph and Mary on the road. Also the sermon was dedicated to the evils of war with not one word of the sanctity of unborn life. Sorry for the rant, just glad my parish has a traditional priest not a Liberal theologian

He was homeless. Once again, because of the government. The more things change, the more they stay the same.

MArk Levin calls them sectarian religious socialists who want a Utopian heaven on earth. Its something that parishoners can raise as a point of theology. AND THEY SHOULD!

Lefties reported once that Lincoln, traveling and in need of a room, shared a room and, fully clothed, slept in the same bed with a man...therefore he was gay...who knows what they will come up with?

My lib parish here in Hollywood ALWAYS say the prayer “Lord, please end the war in Iraq so peace will be attained in that region”. PLUS one time they attempted to have a lesbian priest complete in rainbow garb perform mass during the weekday mass and MOST of the parishioners walked out.

As we know, Jesus wasn’t homeless; he had a home. It’s just that the family was forced to take a road trip for the census. The song was factually incorrect.

Jesus was not homeless.

His parents were on the road, traveling.

When will these PC do-gooders give it a rest? Our Lord was *not* a homeless child.

He wasn’t homeless though. Joseph had a home in Nazareth, the government forced a 9 month pregnant woman to travel in order to tax the population. The priest also added something in the sermon about how the evil rich bethleham populace looked down on the poor Nazarenes. Where they got that from I don’t have a clue.

Speaking personally, I could probably say “Amen” to that — providing only that it be understood that the war can only end once all the Evildoers and Terrorists have either been killed or captured or forced to lay down arms at bayonet point. Then peace *can* be achieved in the region.

So far as I am aware, that is and always has been the strategy for Iraq. If the parish priest had a different strategy in mind, I’m sure the Pentagon would be delighted to receive his input.

Communist revision of history by Marxist thugs who utterly despise the Jewish and Christian religions.

Jesus was not homeless. His dad had a home in Nazarath. hey were in Bethlehem because of the taxation census ordered by the tyrannical Obama of the day.

Jesus was born in humble circumstances, because the hotels were full.

Jesus wasn’t homeless. Mary and Joseph were traveling not refugees or immigrants.

Maybe they’re talking about when they fled to Egypt. Doesn’t matter. You’re right. At Christmastime, it was just the census that had them traveling. PC BS.
