Prayer Request for my Sister (Update Post 175)

I'm asking for prayer for my Sister Suzanne.

Suz has been successfully fighting Cancer.

The day after Thanksgiving she had the mother of all nose bleeds. She was admitted to the hospital, her nose was packed several times unsuccessfully. After 4 major bleeds she had an embolization. A surgical procedure that clots off the artery feeding the bleeding areas.

She had 6 units of blood. She essentially lost half her circulation blood volume. She was in the hospital for almost 3 weeks from a non-cancer related freak occurrence.

She has been frail since then but yesterday she was readmitted to the hospital with worsening hospital acquired pneumonia. This morning she was sedated, intubated and placed on the ventilator. Pneumonia is in both lobes on one side of her lung. The pulmonologist is saying this is not cancer related.

I request your prayer to pull my sister through this current crisis.

Lord Jesus, you are the font of life, the source of all healing. Through you the blind saw, the lame walked, the dead rose. Hold my Sister Suzanne in your healing hands, clear the pneumonia, aid her in regaining her strength.

As with all things, Thy will not mine be done.

I went to the hospital after work last night.

They only let me stay a minute.

I had to work today but several of my other Sisters are at the hospital with her, one of them is a nurse too.

The ICU has been fairly strict with their visiting restrictions so far.
