Prayer Request for my daughter's soccer teammate

My Daughter's best friend on her soccer team (U12) was injured at a match on Saturday. She has a spinal contusion diagnosed as Conus Medullaris Syndrome. She is only 11 years old and is paralyzed from the waist down. I do not normally post such things, but she is a wonderful young lady whose life may have just changed forever. Any prayers would be appreciated.

As a team Grandma and spectator of 13 grandkids play the game we all love, for the last 23 years -- I pray that it is swelling that is pressing on her spine -- and that it will diminish with time and rest.

My oldest grandaughter got her degree in kinesiology in three years because of her love for sports medicine and RECOVERY!
