Prayers to him. I hope he was a good guy. Not sure who FREEPERS are supporting now a days and have not heard of this guy.
He was a pioneer in fleecing the flock and devouring widows houses.

Prayers up for the Roberts family and the ORU ministry here in Tulsa.
Sad. I wasn’t necessarily a follower, but Oral Roberts was an iconic evangelist and he has left a lasting legacy.
My prayer is that God will comfort his family and loved ones and let them know that he is at peace.

Oral Roberts had a gift from God.
Sadly, he let himself become distracted by money. It wound up consuming him, and that consumption harmed his testimony and his ministry.
I still believe him to be a man of God though and believe he has gone home to collect his true treasures in heaven.
My great grandmother was dying of ovarian cancer.
My great grandfather took her to see Oral Roberts. Oral Roberts laid his hands upon her, and when she didn’t jump right up and dance a jig and go back to work; my great grandfather decided she was “of the devil” and left her to die without comfort.
Oral Roberts was a charlatan. Woe to those who believe in false prophets.
I maybe mistaken but wasn’t Oral Roberts the one, who about 10 to 15 years ago, said he had a vision of a 100 feet Jesus that came to him and said if he didn’t raise more money that God was going to take him home?
