Isaiah 6:3

Holy, Holy, Holy is the Lord of Hosts;
The Whole Earth is Filled with His Glory.

TOPICS: Prayer; Religion & Culture; Religion & Politics
KEYWORDS: america; heroes; pray; prayer; shaniyadavis
Our Father, So Loving and Kind,

'Be Exalted, O God, Above the Heavens. May Your Glory Shine throughout the Earth.' (Ps.56:11) 'You are the Fairest of All, Lord; Your Words are Filled with Grace.' (Ps.45:2) How Majestic, how Beautiful and Wonderful You are, our Holy King! We Love You, and are So Thankful You Saved us from our Sins.

Your Excellency, be Glorified Always in our Dear Troops. How can we Ever Thank You Enough for these Awesome Gifts from Your Hand? We are SO Blessed, as a People and Nation; we Worship You, Lord Jesus Christ. May our Military Men be Sheltered, Father, in Your Tender, Loving Care. May Jehovah's Right Arm Uphold them, Strengthen them, and Keep them Safe. Please Grant that our Jesus will be the Treasure and Joy of Each Heart. We Pray, Lord, for the Survivors of the Ft. Hood Terror Attack. O Merciful Master, Please Hold them in Your Strong Arms of Love. May Healing be Granted to the Wounded, Lord, and Every Man be Filled with Your Peace.

Our Savior, our Hearts Ache over what Happened to Little 5 Year Old Shaniya Davis. May the Monster who Tortured and Murdered this Beautiful, Sweet Child be Given Justice from Jehovah Above. Please Avenge this Little Angel, Father; we Trust in our Omnipotent Lord of Hosts. 'Vengence is Mine; I will Repay, saith the Lord.' (Rom.12:19)

Thank You, Your Majesty, for Hearing and Answering our Prayers. 'Holy, Holy, Holy is the Lord of Hosts; the Whole Earth is Filled with His Glory.' (Is.6:3) In Jesus' Name, for the Glory of the Great King of kings, amen.

Heaven On Earth?
Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth. —Colossians 3:2

The Singapore developer of an extravagant condominium advertised its new project as, “Rediscover Heaven on Earth.” I suppose it meant to convey to prospective buyers that their purchase would be so luxurious that it would be like living in heaven while here on earth.

Solomon, the writer of Ecclesiastes, was an extremely wealthy man (Eccl. 1:12). He tried to find heaven on earth and had the means to live as luxuriously as he could wish (2:1-10). Yet he wasn’t satisfied. So disillusioned was he with life, he described it with just one word—“vanity” (or “meaningless”). And he repeated the word eight times in chapter two alone. As long as he looked only at life “under the sun” (2:18), he felt hollow and dissatisfied. All of his striving was ultimately futile. There would come a day when he would have to relinquish his possessions and leave them to someone else (v.18).

If you are a Christian, you can look to Christ’s promise of a heavenly home He has gone to prepare (John 14:2). That’s why Paul advised those who are enjoying what God has given: “Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth” (Col. 3:2). Don’t try to find heaven on earth. You won’t—no matter how hard you look!

Lightly hold earth’s joys so transient,
Loosely cling to things of clay,
Grasp perfections everlasting,
Where Christ dwells in heaven’s day! —Bosch

Those who have their hearts fixed on heaven will hold loosely the things of earth.

Almighty and Eternal God, . Protect our soldiers as they discharge their duties. Protect them with the shield of your strength and keep them safe from all evil and harm.
May the power of your love enable them to return home safely to the people who love them and to the gratitude of the American people..
We ask this through Christ our Lord.

Adding my prayers to this thread.

I especially am concerned for all our military, as I know that the current Commander in Chief is not on their side.

What an impossible task for these patriots, to have such awesome and dangerous responsibilities without the full support of the president. They must accomplish their missions, and stay alive following impossible rules of engagement, while the person holding highest office is so obviously against the country he leads. I believe he is our enemy and he is president.

It is so much worse than when Clinton held office. My husband served during that time, and until Feb 2008 before Obama (who I believe is not eligible to serve) was elected. After 26 years of service, I was glad my husband got out before he served under the likes of Obama. Clinton was a piker compared to O.

Prayer, “Dear Lord, please cover all our military people with your protection. Bless their missions. Be with them as they do good in the world and fight islamic evil. Comfort the families of soldiers. Lest we forget, please bless and comfort the families and friends of those killed or wounded at Fort Hood. Let justice be served all over the world. In Jesus Name, Amen.”

GOD BLESS AND PROTECT OUR TROOPS!

Prayer of St. Ignatius

Teach us, good Lord, to serve Thee as Thou deservest;
To give and not to count the cost; to toil
And not to seek for rest; to labor and not to ask
For any reward, save that of knowing that we do Thy will
Through Jesus Christ, our Lord.

Your beautiful prayer sure touched me, Kitty. I was so glad to see the little girl’s picture. Wasn’t that a horrible, horrible thing to happen to that precious child. She had the most angelic face and little twinkling, smiling eyes.

How could this keep happening over and over to our innocent little children? Each time, it makes my heart ache!

She is one of Heaven’s most beautiful angels today. Even though, we wish we could have kept her from such harm.

Dear Lord, Be with us all and help us understand. We know she is in Your care now and will have no worries or pain. Thank you, dear Jesus, for all you do for all of us each day. We will always give You all the Praise for everything in our lives. Help us all to live closer to you, dear Lord.
We ask these things in your precious name. Amen.

Dear Heavenly Father
We lift out Troops up to You today.
We ask that You hold them in Your special care.
You know every hair upon their heads, every cell in their bodies, every thought and every emotion.
Dear Lord You alone are their Refuge and their Strength, Their Sword, Buckler, and Shield, Their High Tower.
When it may seem that their own CIC has abandoned them, give them assurance in their hearts that the prayers of Your faithful are with them.
Be with the survivors and families of the Ft. Hood Attack, and other jihad attacks across our country, which have been happening, even though they have not been in the news very much.
Give American Citizens the courage to speak the Truth, so that Your Will will be done.
In Jesus Name,
Amen.

Thank You God for Your love.
Thank You God for Your mercy.

We humbly lift our country up to You Lord.

We pray for all who love You, are doing Your
will and are doing it even in harm’s way.

O Lord, forgive us our sins.

Protect us O Lord.

We have no leadership for our country at this time.

We beg Your protection.

We pray today for all who are protecting the United States of America.

We pray for the private citizens, leos, alphas, special units, and our military — all who are striving to protect America, Americans and American interests.

May we always look to You for guidance.

In Jesus’ Holy Name I pray this humble prayer.

Amen.

AMEN DEAREST ELECT SISTER AND GRACE TO ALL CHRISTIAN PATRIOTS!

“The power of his resurrection.”
- Philippians 3:10

The doctrine of a risen Saviour is exceedingly precious. The resurrection
is the corner-stone of the entire building of Christianity. It is the
key-stone of the arch of our salvation. It would take a volume to set
forth all the streams of living water which flow from this one sacred
source, the resurrection of our dear Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ; but to
know that he has risen, and to have fellowship with him as such-communing
with the risen Saviour by possessing a risen life-seeing him leave the
tomb by leaving the tomb of worldliness ourselves, this is even still more
precious. The doctrine is the basis of the experience, but as the flower
is more lovely than the root, so is the experience of fellowship with the
risen Saviour more lovely than the doctrine itself. I would have you
believe that Christ rose from the dead so as to sing of it, and derive all
the consolation which it is possible for you to extract from this
well-ascertained and well-witnessed fact; but I beseech you, rest not
contented even there. Though you cannot, like the disciples, see him
visibly, yet I bid you aspire to see Christ Jesus by the eye of faith; and
though, like Mary Magdalene, you may not “touch” him, yet may you be
privileged to converse with him, and to know that he is risen, you
yourselves being risen in him to newness of life. To know a crucified
Saviour as having crucified all my sins, is a high degree of knowledge;
but to know a risen Saviour as having justified me, and to realize that he
has bestowed upon me new life, having given me to be a new creature
through his own newness of life, this is a noble style of experience:
short of it, none ought to rest satisfied.
May you both “know him, and the power of his resurrection.
“ Why should souls who are quickened with Jesus, wear the grave-clothes of
worldliness and unbelief? Rise, for the Lord is risen.

C.H.SPURGEON

SOLI DEO GLORIA!
