Vatican Shows Priests How to Celebrate the Latin Mass on YouTube

The official Vatican guide to the celebration of the traditional Latin Mass has arrived on YouTube, where you can find long sections of Ecclesia Dei’s DVD about the Extraordinary Form. The clip below shows a priest saying the canon of the Mass. Coming soon to a church near you? Not if certain bishops can help it.

Are we moving to an online divinity school? This is great. Actually YouTube has many training videos on subjects from banjo playing to cooking and I guess now celebrating the Latin Mass.

I love the training video aspect on Youtube. I’ve been able to clear a clogged drain, master embroidering french knots, check what I am doing wrong with my tortilla patatas and lots of other things. Don’t see why it can’t be used for spiritual instructions.

I'm sorry, but if I, as a six year old child, could learn to sing quite complicated anthems in Latin, then a priest can learn the Mass!
We had a new choir member who forgot her music on First Sunday, and I had to hand over my Latin Mass music -- found to my surprise that the whole thing is already nicely stashed in my memory - even the Credo.
