I guess I must have the AMIA mixed up with the TAC. THe AMIA is the mission of the Southern Cone of the Anglican Communion that planted parishes in the USA essentially in competition with TEC in order to provide refuge for those swamped by feminism and faggotism.
The missal you are talking about is the one I’m thinking of. It is “ok”, so-so, I’d say. I like the idea of missal, with readings and responsorial psalms and hymns all in the same place, and some of the hymns are ok, but they’re all in only one part, iirc, and I don’t like the rewordings as well.
The Adoremus Hymnal I have does not have the readings, so I guess it’s not that one....
Welcome home, Anglican and Episcopal brothers and sisters!
Are you familar with Anglican Use Parishes?
The Church has no problem with women preaches God’s word — many of our greatest saints have been women (see Mother Angelica for one). We don’t have women priests officiating for the simple reason is that we don’t KNOW what would God want on that issue and we don’t see fit to change it. As your statement that you suspect Jesus really wouldn’t care if there were women priests — we’ll wait until He comes and tells us that. We don’t want to go down the path of “reform” as it seems to eventually lead to the ordination of people like Gene Robinson....
The Gay Church takes one down the smokestack.
Really! The fact that a man has a penis and a woman has a vagina? Oh wait, you mean, a woman is way too emotional and a man has a heart of steel? Yeah, I guess that is it, an emotional woman is just not capable of preaching God's word. Hey, thanks for straightening me out......
That is good to hear.

....might I suggest, Prayer!
As your statement that you suspect Jesus really wouldnt care if there were women priests well wait until He comes and tells us that.
Again, I would suggest Prayer!

I think that in this case that would be a bit of a stretch, but who knows.
Yes, Prayer — women are as pious as men (some, like me, would argue they are MORE pious). however, priestesses is not on, this has demonstratably led to GeneRobinson.
The difference between a man and a woman is merely reproductive?
Why are you so defensive?
