Witness the "all" of me
Bible and The Comforter | Scribe

Posted on 10/17/2009 4:39:18 PM PDT by Jedediah

A manifold witness I have placed in you ,

All that is faithful and true ,

A oneness of The Father and I in one breath ,

Can you imagine this depth ,

For what once rested upon me ,

Was the one and the three in complete harmony ,

And so it is even now My fullness with you ,

For as you witness me all 3 come through ~ ~ ~

John 15:26 But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me:

John 16:6-12 (King James Version)

6But because I have said these things unto you, sorrow hath filled your heart.

7Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.

8And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:

9Of sin, because they believe not on me;

10Of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye see me no more;

11Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged.

12I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now.

John 20:22 And when he had said this, he breathed on them, and saith unto them, Receive ye the Holy Ghost:

1 Corinthians 4:18-21 (New King James Version) 18 Now some are puffed up, as though I were not coming to you. 19 But I will come to you shortly, if the Lord wills, and I will know, not the word of those who are puffed up, but the power. 20 For the kingdom of God is not in word but in power. 21 What do you want? Shall I come to you with a rod, or in love and a spirit of gentleness?

Whatever seems likely to us, and no matter how many fruitcakes, weirdos and wannabees get involved in the UFO subject, there’s just no getting around the fact that there are lots of reports from highly regarded professionals that just can’t be debunked or explained.

______________

By that logic, since millions believe in psychics and ghosts and people who talk to the dead and 9/11 Truthers, etc. Everything must be true.

UFO’s CAN be debunked and explained. Just because true believers refuse to accept logical explanations doesn’t make UFO’s real.

The fact is UFO believers CAN NOT prove their claims, if they COULD it would be the biggest story in the history of MANKIND, something that believers fail to grasp.

Show some irrefutable, factual proof to these claims and it will be the only story on the news 24 hours a day 7 days a week, 365 days a year. That little bit of logic seems to escape the true believers.

You’re deliberately AVOIDING post 478. I simply asked his questions and he replied honestly in 478, no reason for a pity party. So no matter how outrageous, you won’t try and help our friend Quix to see that he might be straying afar from Christianity and Scripture?

No, not avoiding...I stated some things I agree and somethings I don't. Quix has posted a whole lot more stuff than what is just in that single post. The "pity" is this sham of a "survey" just to try to humiliate a person to whom some don't agree with on doctrine...let's be honest. I don't really think anyone could disagree that in the End-times some strange things are going to happen - unexplainable things - UNLESS one doesn't believe in all that End-times stuff.

The “pity” and “sham” of a survey was started by QUIX.

No need to apologize to me. I understand your error.

***UFO’s CAN be debunked and explained. Just because true believers refuse to accept logical explanations doesn’t make UFO’s real.***

One thing to remember is that a UFO is unidentified. We don’t know. A satellite that one does not know the location of is a UFO. There is deliberate mixing of UFO with alien experience testimony simply because there ain’t no such thing as aliens among us. Unless you count the Canadians on green cards.

Dracos, blues, greys, reptilians, etc. come from the creative and sometimes drug-fuelled minds of our friends who fervently wish for a more expansive reality. Ain’t no aliens in flying saucers. No anal probes. No human slurry vats. No nuthin’.

We need to concentrate a little more on our imitation of Christ and a little less on some of our friends’ adolescent fantasies. :)

Yes, I agree. Unidentified means just that, but to the believers UFO means alien spacecraft and beings. It gets confusing.

Literally UFO by definition aren’t “aliens”, so I guess UFO’s are “real” because they’re unidentified, lol.

Doesn't matter who composed it - the gauntlet was thrown down to see who would back the guy up. I'm pretty sure we would ALL have been called nuts had we responded 100% in force because I'm not convinced it really matters to some what we think. I'm off to other more important things. Good night.

It is deliberate, trust me on this.

There is no such thing as a grey or reptilian or anything else. Any more than witches or unicorns or dragons.

Witness that, brother. :)

Hi Word Warrior. I’m saying that while the majority of UFO reports are easily explained prosaically, and while there are large numbers of weirdos and also publicity seekers involved in the UFO scene, there are still many cases involving reputable witnesses that defy conclusive debunking. I’m not saying that since millions believe, it must be true, since what millions believe isn’t relevant in and of itself.

I am saying that there’s a lot of good eyewitness testimony, which IMO is compelling. I don’t assert that this constitutes proof, though certainly it could.

Reply to 478, I think that Quix does have some valid info but not all, the bible does say that as in the days of Noah so will be the days of the return of the son of Man. At that time of Noah there were nephilim in the land. The sons of the god the fallen ones the ones whom Jude said left their first habitat or can be interpreted their first form as in life form to come here to inter bread with women which produced the giants. These angels were here after the flood too so they were not all killed off. Prior to the flood man live to be over 1000 years old so it is possible that these life forms are still here alive but hidden.

I hear you, I can’t dispute your opinion that you find it compelling. Personally, I’ve yet to see any evidence that is compelling IMO. Something that would be truly compelling would be the biggest story in the world. Eyewitness testimony from “credible” people means little to me. There are many people with degrees in various fields who believe the nonsense of the 9/11 Truthers.

When there is actual proof of Aliens, Alien Spacecraft, I will be the first to admit it, I promise. : )

For those who have been exposed to such things, the posits of others who also have been so exposed, who additionally have enough self discipline to rely first in the veracity of Christ, has a worthwhile testimony amongst brethren.

More debatable is the incentive of any person who claims to have had faith in Christ, but would so ridicule the reports of fellow believers based upon empiricism with disdain for spiritual insight.

As I’ve told you before, I’ve always felt UFO’s were demonic in nature and not people from outer space.

The election of Obama, the capitulation of the media and the events that have unfolded under direction of his administration have moved me closer to accepting the idea of widespread conspiracies than I was previously. I’m still not a particular believer in conspiracy theories and I tend to distrust and even despise them on principle. But I’m no longer quite as much of a mind to view my conspiracy minded acquaintances as kooks. I may doubt most of the popular conspiracies, but on some I am closer to considering that they could be possible.

Not the truther one, though.

No, the biggest story in the world is that God gave his only begotten Son, so that we who are condemned might have eternal life through faith in Him. Yet, is even that report, so obvious to those who are faithful and true, widely accepted by the world?

Unlike the Gospel, the agenda of some associated with UFO/Alien/Fallen Angels is also convoluted with intentional deception and rejection of God through faith in Christ.

Accordingly, those in that domain impose upon themselves obvious doubt in their credibility. Since their cosmic system relies first upon the soulish without regenerated human spirit through faith in Christ, it isn't surprised that such players advocate soulish perceptions as criteion of proof or slide into preference for the occult.

All of these issues indicate and further bolster the position that such persons are indeed playing closer to the agenda of the Adversary than the Elect.
