Works well for babies that are not premature. My daughter used to scream with colic. One night I fell asleep with her in my arms. It was the first night either one of got any sleep.

Blurry screen. Have to go call my Mom and thank her again for those 40 hours of labor and the breech birth she endured for me. *SNIF*

Sounds like a story from ObamaCare.

Too bad some doctors can’t see past their books to use common sense.

This part REALLY bothers me! >:-(
The doctors said that she had proved she was a fighter and that she now deserved some intensive care..."
Babies having to PROVE they are worthy of life-saving procedures?!?!
Let me guess--NHS?!? >:-(
BTW, this child is the kind of child HolyO voted AGAINST saving with the botched abortion bill--SHAME ON HIM. >:-(

Thank you for this wonderful post. It made my good day so much better. While there is life there is hope.

Where did this take place? I read the whole article and can’t find a city, state, or any other indication of where it happened.

That is so awesome. Lovely story.

All Drs no matter who, what, when, where or why should ALWAYS AND FOREVER do all they can to save the life of a newborn baby and when there is absolutely nothing else left they haven’t tried...then they can know they did absolutely everything they could to save this new life. Then and only then do they have the authority to tell the parents there is no hope left. There is ALWAYS hope. The mother’s instincts and desire to keep the baby warm was what saved her life. The photo of the mom and dad holding that little life is so heartwarming. NO DOC has a right to say NO without trying things.
Yes folks...this is EXCATLY WHAT WILL HAPPEN IF THIS HORRIFIC, VILE HEALTHCARE BILL IS PASSED. Keep fighting.

When a parent holds their baby on their chest, skin-to-skin, it is referred to as Kangaroo Mother Care.I used to love doing this with my sons.
Doesn't this mean they all have to be named Joey?

The doctors said that she had proved she was a fighter and that she now deserved some intensive care as there was some hope. She had done it all on her own without any medical intervention or drugs. She had clung on to life and it was all because of that cuddle. It had warmed up her body and regulated her heart and breathing enough for her to start fighting.”
Deserved, Doctors say the baby only deserved to be saved once she proved to be a fighter.
F-ck that. Every baby deserves to be saved.
