Works well for babies that are not premature. My daughter used to scream with colic. One night I fell asleep with her in my arms. It was the first night either one of got any sleep.
That is interesting. I remember our second Daughter had colic and the only thing which seemed to soothe her was when her Mother put her on her stomach.
Some of us are attachment parents.
We knew this already.
My girls stayed in my room, co-sleeping until almost a year old.
It’s a very new occurrence in society to dump your newborn in another room. To me it was terrifying and no way would I let it happen.
My first was a 30-week preemie and had terrible bouts of colic. Her mother had post-partum and was a wreck so I would don a pair of headphones and rock my baby for hours.
I’m a believer in KMC - even when it isn’t a mom giving it...
My babies slept either on my chest or my husband’s until they were about 6 months old.
