Yes we are.... :).
Come Lord Jesus come !!!!
We have passed the “last days” by a decade or so.
I may be drunk but I know what I know.
Americans have no backbone and suffer because of that fact.
John (fkig) Galt.
Bump for later.
PS. and I am going to get even Fking drunker
“I may be drunk but I know what I know”.
...I honestly don’t blame you.
I rely JUST on Scripture. Seems that’s why He gave it to us.
No.
Age of Grace = approximately 6,000 years (4000 bc + 2000 ad)
Tribulation = 7 years
Age of peace = 1000 years.
Last days is a reference to the final years of the Age of Grace. It is the presence of the Holy Spirit on earth that holds back the forces of evil... and it is the mark of the beginning of the tribulation when the Holy Spirit is taken from the earth... letting loose Satan to have free reign.
The Holy Spirit is also referred to as the Great Councelor... whom all believers receive upon believing in Jesus Christ, Who promised that He will never leave us nor forsake us.
For the Holy Spirit to leave the earth without those who have received Him would be a clear and direct breaking of His covenant that He made with us.
If the Catholics do not believe in the rapture, then I have to wonder if they understand what salvation really is.
Yes.
Next question.
Are we, as many Christians believe, living in the last days? In fact, the "last days" refers not only to the "end of time," but to the last two thousand years. Scripture teaches that the Incarnation ushered in "the last days." According to Hebrews 1:1-2, "God, after He spoke long ago to the fathers in the prophets in many portions and in many ways, in these last days has spoken to us in His Son, whom He appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the world."
One thing that you guys refuse to recognize is that Hebrews was written to, Hebrews...
After the Rapture takes place, the church is gone...That's the reason for the rapture...The book of Revelation is clear enough that one can see the church has been taken to heaven to become the Bride of Jesus Christ...
While that's happening, there are lots of people left on the earth...Many Gentiles, and Hebrews...The times of the Gentiles has been fulfilled...NOW, God will again deal with the Hebrews...And they will still have the scriptures and the numerous passages in the scripture that no one can make any sense out of will then be revealed...
If the earth was created in 6 days, and it was, and Jesus showed up on the 5th day, and He did, yes we have been living in the last days...But the last days also refer to the very last of the last days, after the Rapture of the church...
Been there - Done that.
When you are ready to do something to protect the constitution - call.
I’m as skunk as a drunk and have nothing to lose.
Yes, but there is no way to know how long it will go on or how many
fake messiahs will appear, deceiving people, leading them astray into errors and apostasy.
Such as Paul's warning in 2 Thessalonians 2 of "the lawless one" who comes with "all power, signs, and lying wonders." "Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, and with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved." (2 Thessalonians 2:9-10).
It is not unknown that prideful, deceptive and unrighteous men, deceived by unclean spirits, would seek to exalt themselves and be worshipped, presenting themselves above God to teach false, distorted, and immoral doctrines. Claiming to have superior knowledge which contradicts Christian morality.
You guys??
The Catholic Church acknowledges that the Book of Hebrews was written to the Hebrews. Who do you think gave you the Bible?
Our lives are measured, but God is limitless and timeless. Each of us is in our last days.
He also gave you oral Tradition and a Church as interpreter of that scripture. In fact, it is the Catholic Church that compiled the Bible.
“No.” ~ EGPWS
Yes.
We’ve been living in the last days since about AD-70
