No special connection. Mary was a sinner born of a sinner. Both needed a Savior. Mary was chosen by God to be the human mother of Jesus. Jesus loved her but proscribed her special valuation in the Kingdom by iterating that his mother and sister and brother were those who did the will of God.
Mary had additional children and died and was buried on this earth.
She is neither the “Queen of Heaven.” which was a false idol in the book of Jeremiah. Nor is she the mother of God. Nor is she, more than others, the wife of God.
She was a wonderful and blessed woman. But she is not to be worshiped. And she is not the intercessor between God and men.
I've never seen any evidence of that, have you?
She certainly IS the Queen of Heaven, she's just not the false idol in the book of Jeremiah. That was a different personage, not the Mother of God, Queen of Heaven, the Blessed Virgin Mary.
Nope.
...and died and was buried on this earth.
Nope again.
Neither claim is even Scriptural.
so you dont believe in the OT forshadowing the NT, as this article clearly shows?
why is that? can you direct your answers to the actual text involved and the biblical evidence presented?
The bride of the King of Kings is His church. Heaven therefore has no need for a queen.
Had Mary been sinless she would not have needed a savior - and there would have been no need for one to enter the world whose sacrifice was given “once for ALL” (Hebrews 10:10).
Catholics do not worship saints. They are our brothers and sisters who have gone before, and they are there to plead for us, but they are not God.
Mary was the mother of Jesus, both true God and true man (although many Protestants don’t believe this), and he is the Lord of the Universe. Therefore, it’s reasonable to think that she, who like her Son was a real historical person, will intercede and plead for us.
If you can’t think of her as your mother, think of her as your older sister who has gone before you and is still praying to God for you.
You evidently do not know of the Dogma of the Immaculate Conception. She had a clean soul in order to house our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ in her womb.
Might be good for you to do some digging and thinking about that.
Miriam's role was not her characteristics or value, 1. Miriam is a daughter who has no brothers 2. Joseph is descended from King David. 3. The inheritance exception granted for the daughters of Zelophehad 4. If a woman who has no brothers marries a man of the same tribe 5. Joseph and Miriam are married (each descended from King David)
shalom b'SHEM Yah'shua HaMashiach
but her bloodlines to King David,
having no brothers and
the exception started by
the daughters of Zelophehad.
There are five things that are important here:
and is descended from King David.
But he is from a line prohibited to inherit.
(These were daughters who had no brothers)
is in effect (Numbers 26, 27, 36; Joshua 17; 1 Chronicles 7).
She can inherit forever.
thus providing Miriam with permanent inheritance
of the Kingship of David for her to pass on to her son Yah'shua (Messiahship).
