Father, we pray for every serviceman You have given us. We pray that Your favor would be with them, to protect their lives and grant them success. May Your Word, Lord, increase and spread among them, that they may know Your love and Your salvation. Father, we remember especially the soldier who was reported missing in Afghanistan; please be with him now, and deliver him from all danger.
Lord, we thank You today for this nation You have given us - conceived in liberty, and founded on recognition of You as sovereign Creator. You have sent us many heroes, wise leaders and good citizens, and we thank You for them all. Help us now, Lord, that we might not lose what we have been given.
Father, as You have commanded, we pray for all the saints. May Your Spirit reign in our hearts, that we might become like our Master.
Lord, You alone are God, and the Rock of all ages. You are a sure refuge for all who come to You, and there is no other. From You, Lord, is our salvation and all our hope. Your children will forever praise Your strength, Your faithfulness, and Your everlasting love. May all honor, all dominion, and all glory be Yours for eternity, in the Name of our Redeemer, Amen.

Bless our troops, Oh Lord. Please God keep them from harm’s way. Place your ever large umbrella of protection over each and every one. In precious Jesus name, I ask.
