This new technology deserves a great deal of attention. I think there is a tremendous opportunity here, as I will explain.Stunning new technology is allowing parents to go beyond a 3D or 4D ultrasound to bond with their unborn child in ways never imaginable. A student at the Royal College of Art in Britain has created life-like models based on pictures of unborn children that are the exact shape and size of the baby in the womb.The results are breathtaking:
Fetal models have long been a staple of county fairs and health education classes across the country, but one student has gone further.
Brazilian student Jorge Lopes is a PhD. student at the college and he has pioneered the use of converting data from ultrasounds and MRI scans to form life-size plastic models in a process called rapid prototyping.
"It’s amazing to see the faces of the mothers. They can see the full scale of their baby, really understand the size of it," Lopes told the London Daily Mail newspaper.

Is it not the case that the above author is actually terrified that women, when they see a model of their child, might realize that the real "failed" pregnancy is one where she allows her child to die?
This should finally dispel the ridiculous “it’s just a blob of tissue” argument.

Amazing that some 30 years after we as a nation decided it's just a blob and we have the right to get rid of it, science comes back with more amazing technology that proves that abortion-crazed era wrong and wronger still.

Ironic, isn't it? Just a few years ago, they were so routine. When they first came out, some people wondered if they were safe, and a myriad of studies came out to show their safety and usefulness in pointing out undetected emergencies. Health insurances started covering them when they were proven beneficial. I guess beneficial no more! PP noticed that parents saw the little humans growing inside them instead of the inconvenient blobs. It's a sad day for Connecticut. Coming soon to states near us, no doubt.
Why don't we put the Everest size pile of irrefutable scientific evidence into the dialog and obozo can put his pathetic lies and distortions. Lets allow the FULL TRUTH out for once and let the people decide.

One thing is certain. Abortion has been proven over and over to be unhealthy for the baby.
It should be interesting. They are so pent on their mission of destroying life.
On Sunday, one of our parishioners brought her newest child to Church for the first time. It is the custom in the Maronite Catholic Church, for the priest to greet the parents and child at the door, bestow a blessing on the child and welcome him/her to their faith community. This is done approximately 30 days following the child's birth and commemorates the presentation of Jesus in the Temple. Our Maronite pastor is in DC for 2 months, studying Canon Law. In his place, we have a retired RC priest - a veritable gem! The grandmother explained this tradition to him before Mass but the parents arrived after Mass began. Just prior to the Offertory, Fr. Vaughan called the parents forward.
On the back wall of the Sanctuary, there are two frescoes, one of which depicts the Presentation of Jesus in the Temple. Set against this backdrop, it was so awesome to witness this young couple, with the mother holding her child in the arms, just like the fresco, and the priest pouring out such beautiful blessings on this new member of our faith community. After Mass, I went over to the father who was cradling his son in the crook of his arm. Looking down on this innocent new life, I could not help but reflect on those babies who are aborted at full term. The child's eyes 'danced' as they focused on the chandeliers. Parishioners surrounded him, stroking his head and wishing the parents many blessings.
May those contemplating abortion, hold these 4 dimensional images in their hands and choose to give the babies in their wombs, life! May they draw inspiration from the Blessed Mother who also experienced an unplanned pregnancy and chose to bring the Savior into this world!
They have to pretend that it isn’t really human or else their argument stand on the ludicrous argument of location.
See my post right after yours. How many would see the potential life in an animal fetus and decry the destruction of such innocent animals? Why would an animal be above a human fetus?
Wonderful new development! : ) While I don’t hold out for everyone, hopefully it will convince some of those bent on destroying life, how wrong they are.
Thank you for raising an issue that no one has yet addressed. What do you suppose would be the reaction of an animal activist were I to bring my pregnant dog to the vets for an abortion? They would probably decry it as a criminal act while supporting a woman's right to choose. In their world, animals have more rights than humans.
I think you are correct in what their reaction would be. You know, we had a stray cat that we adopted and when we took it to the vet for shots and to be spade, the vet said they would have to make sure she wasn't pregnant before they would do the operation. I didn't think about it at the time because it made sense to me, but I wonder if all vets do this.
