Update on Pam S. from her husband~

Pam is slowly but surely starting to recover. I’ve caught her standing a couple of times by her self, for which she caught it. We’ve walked from the living room out the back door through the garage down the drive to the mail box and back a couple of times and she’s using her breathing exercising machine once or twice a hour. BCBS is paying for a therapist to come out here and work with her, she’s been here twice. I think the the therapist is fooled by her left leg. She is ordering Pam a walker but I think Pam will be walking by the time it gets here. Pam has a four inch incision in each leg where they got the arterys to repair her with. This is causing the pain in her legs and along with her being being asleep for nine days making her weak is what she has to overcome. She still doesn’t believe she was asleep for nine days. Her mom is her with us and is a great help, she made the best chicken and dumplings I’ve had in along time last night. Pam needs this to get her strength back and taste buds too. Keep praying, it’s working.

My husband had open heart surgery 1 1/2 years ago and it is quite something to recover from. I pray for the best for Pam. The leg wound was even harder for my husband to recover from than the chest wound. he only had arteries removed from one leg and did not develop pneumonia. God Bless Pam!
