It’s basically nothing more than a ‘cultural learning center’ and has nothing to do with protestantism.

Unitarian is not the same as non-denominational. Unitarians believe in nothing and everything and anything.

Conversation overheard:
Person A (Mainstream Protestant Denomination): I hear that you allow all sorts of weirdos in your church. Atheists, Buddhists, Pagans...
Person B (Unitarian Universalist): We allow Christians too — we’re very open minded!

Anything goes in Unitarianism, except for conservative, Bible believing Christianity.

I was brought up Unitarian as much as anything. If this woman teaches tolerance, inclusivity, and liberalism, she can worship fuzzy caterpillars and it will be fine.
So long as she doesn’t have anything nice to say about traditional values, the military, or Christians.

"...a mainstream congregation..." There is nothing "mainstream" about Unitarian Universalism. They are NOT Christians. They do not believe in the Gospel. They are humanist and believe themselves to be "gods".

Unitarians are not Christians, never have been. They rebelled from Congregationalist Christianity in New England and set up their own religion. Their most destructive act was that they captured once-Christian Harvard and turned it into the godless university it remains to this day.

Unbelievable — especially if Unitarians call themselves Christians.

Very strange. Not really. It isn't like UUs are Christian. Why shouldn't a group of non-Christian group hire a Muslim.
