Secretary of State Clinton expresses admiration for Margaret Sanger and confusion about Our Lady of Guadalupe.

A day before receiving the Planned Parenthood Federation of America’s highest honor – the “Margaret Sanger Award” – U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton paid a visit to the Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe in Mexico City, leaving a bouquet of white flowers “on behalf of the American people,” and asking the basilica’s rector, “Who painted it?”

What an honor.

Well, if you read the entire article, Hillary is extremely callous. First she goes to Mexico and is ignorant of an important icon, then she speaks to Mexicans about how Obama freed up money for abortions.

Then shortly after she lauds Margeret Sanger, the nasty founder of Planned Parenthood. She is either ignorant, callous, or strident in her dislike for any that have the temerity to disagree. You may pray for her if you wish. I pray that the evil she represents is defeated.

Isn’t Sanger the lady who started planned parenthood to keep the population of blacks down?

Yes, Margaret Sanger was very concerned about high birth rates among “undesirables”. The liberal politically correct world lionizes(sp?) her for her work on birth control, because those people can’t imagine a world without birth control pills. But there was a very dark side to her work, which includes reducing the birth of minorities or other undesirables.

Hilary is an idiot and anyone who went there to place flowers by the image should have spent the time to find out the significance of the image.

If you were secretary of state and went to pay homage to a moslem, hindu, or any other religion’s sacred artifact, I would expect you to know the same.

Why give these pretenders a pass for being incompetent.

Hillary Clinton Admires A Racist

(California Catholic Daily) - According to the State Department’s transcript of Clinton’s remark, the secretary of state said, “I admire Margaret Sanger enormously, her courage, her tenacity, her vision… when I think about what she did all those years ago in Brooklyn, taking on archetypes, taking on attitudes and accusations flowing from all directions, I am really in awe of her....

THE CATHOLIC KNIGHT: Now, for some quotes by Margaret Sanger, founder of Planned Parenthood...
On blacks, immigrants and indigents:
“...human weeds,’ ‘reckless breeders,’ ‘spawning... human beings who never should have been born.” Margaret Sanger, Pivot of Civilization, referring to immigrants and poor people.

On sterilization & racial purification:
Sanger believed that, for the purpose of racial “purification,” couples should be rewarded who chose sterilization. Birth Control in America, The Career of Margaret Sanger, by David Kennedy, p. 117, quoting a 1923 Sanger speech.

On the purpose of birth control:
The purpose in promoting birth control was “to create a race of thoroughbreds,” she wrote in the Birth Control Review, Nov. 1921 (p. 2)

On the rights of the handicapped and mentally ill, and racial minorities:
“More children from the fit, less from the unfit — that is the chief aim of birth control.” Birth Control Review, May 1919, p. 12

On the extermination of blacks:
“We do not want word to go out that we want to exterminate the Negro population,” she said, “if it ever occurs to any of their more rebellious members.” Woman’s Body, Woman’s Right: A Social History of Birth Control in America, by Linda Gordon

On respecting the rights of the mentally ill:
In her “Plan for Peace,” Sanger outlined her strategy for eradication of those she deemed “feebleminded.” Among the steps included in her evil scheme were immigration restrictions; compulsory sterilization; segregation to a lifetime of farm work; etc. Birth Control Review, April 1932, p. 107

On abortion in general:
“The most merciful thing that a large family does to one of its infant members is to kill it.” Margaret Sanger, Women and the New Race (Eugenics Publ. Co., 1920, 1923)

Exactly.

It would have taken her aide 3 minutes to access Wikipedia on their Blackbery...done. Embarrassment avoided.

“The Negro Project is the most questionable activity of Sanger regarding race. In 1939, the Birth Control Federation of America initiated the project, which was to promote family planning among the black population of the South, using black ministers. A letter to Clarence Gamble says: “We do not want word to go out that we want to exterminate the Negro population and the minister is the man who can straighten out that idea if it ever occurs to any of their more rebellious members.” (Margaret Sanger to Clarence Gamble, October 19, 1939, Sanger Smith Collection, quoted in Linda Gordon, Woman’s Body, Woman’s Right: Birth Control in America, second edition [New York: Penguin Books, 1990,] 332-33)

This woman was pure evil; just like the man she admired, A. Hitler. Just think of the amount of deaths she is responsible for. Her ‘gift’ is still giving.

You have it partially right. Sanger also advocated killing any child “not perfect,” like my son who has Down Syndrome. Sanger, Hitler and “Tiller the killer” are soul mates.

Yes. Sanger was a raging racist! And Obama and Hillary are BIG fans of hers.

I think Sanger’s term was “mud races” referring to various shades of black and brown—Al Jolson in makeup excepted.

I recall seeing a picture of Sanger addressing a KKK rally. She was the guest of honor. Perhaps someone will post that infamous photo on this thread.

Makes perfect sense to me. After all, Sanger's eugenics theories drove one of Hillary's and Obama's OTHER heroes, pictured below.

But the thread is about HILLARY.

How can we comment without mentioning her name?

Can we just say "The H Word"?
